Joshs pov

"When did you see them!!"

My head warrior Steve and Harrison said they've seen rouges scouting the area. They counted at least 10 but unsure if there's more

"About an hour ago, we was doing checks when Harrison heard something. We checked it out and there was around 10 wolves just on the outside of the boarders, they looked to be checking us out alpha"

Shit! If its only ten it isn't a problem but everyone knows they're probably just the ones getting the information and there will be more.

"Right, Steve get your men together. I'll get carter to join us, we'll try and track them see if we can get even one. We'll bring them back and question them"

15 minutes later we're all looking for the wolves they seen but there's no trace of them.

"You sure you saw something!? I could of been one of our members? I'm getting nothing!!"

I growl in frustration then the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, my wolf growls in my mind. I turn around and see a man lent against the tree behind us. He's around 5ft10, really slim, dark messy hair and hazel eyes

"Who are you and what are you doing her"

I stand tall and push my alpha energy out. Most people back down when they feel my strong energy but he just smirked.

"Well alpha, that isn't a polite way to greet someone is it"

He crosses his arms over his chest and raises an eyebrow

"you was asked a question"

I clench my fists at my side my wolf is on edge and we don't trust this man.

"Don't you remember me josh?"

I stare in confusion. I dont recognise him. Nothing seems filimar.

"I'm the last face your father ever saw"

Anger over comes me and I race forward, as I reach out for him he disappears. "What the fuck!!"

Carter screams out "did anyone else see that!!"

I punch the tree and turn to the men "what the fuck was that!! He had no scent, we didn't even hear him, it was only because my wolf sensed him that I turned round! How did he vanish like that! I want answers now!!"

I take control of my wolf who is fighting to be let out, Carter walks over and places a hand on my shoulder

"Josh we need to contact Carl. Maybe it's who he was on about "

I storm off to the grounds and to go my office, Carter is right behind me but he doesn't say a word. He shuts the door and I punch the wall, luckily the office is thick solid sound proof walls so I don't do much damage, I punch another wall and pick up the chair and throw that at the wall as well "FUCK!!!!"

I'm shaking in anger "how did he do it!!!"

Carter is stood by the door not saying a word, just watching me "don't fucking stand there man! If you have something to say then fucking say it!!" I growl at him

"Don't take it out on me josh, I'm here to make sure you don't nothing stupid and then make a plan with you"

"The only stupid thing I'll do is ring your neck if you keep looking at me like that!"

He just shrugs and stands there. I walk over to him but before I can do anything he punches me right in the nose I'm knocked back and put my hand to my nose "what the fuck Carter!!"
