We've been none stop all afternoon. We're having a little party to welcome kayleigh properly and officially make her luna of the hilltop pack. I'm so excited and nervous, I've been keeping busy all day helping the pack set up but now it's time to get ready, I throw on a pair of black jeans and my white button shirt, I have a shave this morning so my beard is now trimmed and tidy..I style my hair and do one final check in the mirror. Happy with what I see I go into the bedroom and see kayleigh sat on the bed. She's wearing a simple black dress and buckling up the strap to her shoes. She smiles when she sees me and I swear ill never get used to the feelings she makes me feel.
"Ready" I hold out my hand and she puts her hand in mind before standing up
"Ready" she nods at me and we walk downstairs and over to the ball room where everyone is waiting. As the doors open everyone cheers and whistles for us, they make a path so we can walk to the front of everyone. Kayleigh stands beside me holding my hand tightly and I nod to the pack
"Thank you guys for coming tonight so we can welcome kayleigh officially to the pack as your luna"
Everyone cheers again
"So before you pledge yourself to her is there anyone who thinks kayleigh shouldn't be luna ?"
Kayleigh squeezes my hand I try to steady my racing heart thankfully no one speaks, I nod towards them
"Thank you. Now kayleigh" I turn and face her "do you pledge yourself to the hilltop pack. Will you guide, protect and love our pack"
She nods "of course, I kayleigh davies pledge myself to you all as your luna of hilltop"
I turn back to my pack
"You know what to do guys" I smile as they all stand together "I accept kayleigh davies as my luna, I pledge my loyalty to you forever and always"
I look at kayleigh who has tears falling down her face "thank you" she barely whispers
"Luna kayleigh!"
Everyone screams and I hold her tight "welcome to the pack my wild mate"
I kiss her softly before joining everyone to party and celebrate my mate, our luna
