Kayleighs pov
We follows Shannon's scent from the carpark to main road. Hiding in the treeline so we're not spotted. Moving fast but carefully we make our way down the main road then evie skid to a holt and everyone else does the same..
"Shannon managed to contact me. She's keeping chloe calm so she doesn't do anything stupid. She said she's in a cabin her parents own a few miles from here, do have any idea where that is josh?"
" I'm sure I've heard chloes dad mentioned it to my dad a few years ago but I can't remember where it is!"
I can remember someone on about land round here that wasn't claimed by another pack cos they wanted to buy some land. I walk up to evie
"eve, I know there's an unclaimed land not too far from here. Maybe they brought something on there cos no packs around there to claim the land?"
I look at josh and my wolf just wants to jump him right now.
"Well done kay! It's worth a try. Lead the way"
I trot ahead of her and my wolf starts swaying her hips to get joshs attention which is working as he basically rubbing himself against me. My wolf is going mental and I can tell he's fighting his wolf as well.
About 10 minutes later we come to a big wooded area
"I smell her! She's here. Right guys, let's not fuck this up okay. Kai take your men and do a sweep. Stay low and out of sight! She's a wolf she will sense you if you're not careful!"
"I'm well aware of that evie. Don't worry we'll get her back safe soon"
Kai nods to his men and they all slowly make their way closer the lodge
"Once kai give us the all clear we move"
5 minutes later kai links us "it's just 2 females in the cabin. Both unarmed"
"Thanks mate, the brown haired one is my sister, do not touch her. The slim blonde one is chloe"
"Understood. Shannon looks scared but calm she seems okay... chloe looks anxious but calm. They're sat on a sofa with a drink, chloe keeps looking around so I don't know if she's suspicious"
"Okay can you see a way in?"
"Yeah there's a door at the front and another at the rear... they're in the room closest to the front entrance"
"Okay, me and josh will take the front door and enter first, abi and carter will follow us, kai, you take half of your men and cover the rear. If she makes a run for it you make sure she doesn't get away. The other half cover us when we enter the front, same as before you stop her getting away unless we call for backup"
"Yes alpha"
"Let's go!"
5 minutes later we all in position. We're all laying low so she doesn't pick up our scent. Just before we move I see chloe in the window
"wait! Do not move incase she sees us"
chloe scans the area a confused look on her face , she shuts the curtains and we get ready again. Suddenly we hear the unmistakable noise of a wolf shifting and Shannon's scream fills the air
"MOVE NOW!!!!"
Evie and josh rush out, josh slams his massive body against the door and it rips off the hinges. Evie jumps past josh as he steadies himself. We wait to see if they need our back up but it's just silent, we all guess they're mindlinking and then we hear a massive crash from instead the cabin, we all stay perfectly still waiting for the go ahead
Joshs pov
Evie jump across the room and straight on to chloes back ripping her away from Shannon, chloe quickly spins around and swipes her Sharp claws across her face. Evie back up trying to move her away from Shannon, chloes eyes are locked on her as they stare at each other
"Over my dead body will you claim my mate as yours!!" Evie roars at her through the mind link, I see Shannon starting to get up
I see the shock in chloes eyes before it's quickly replaced by anger "Looks like I'll have to kill you then!"
She jumps towards her again but evie moves out the way as she crashes into the chairs shattering them in the process, she quickly stands up and shakes herself off. She's putting up a good fight for a little wolf, I send abi and carter towards Shannon trying to get out of here.
"Get her out of here!!"
Abi nudges Shannon trying to get her to leave but she doesn't budge she's frozen watching them
"Please Shannon! You need to leave!"
Chloe strikes again as evie is distracted by Shannon and she bites her hine leg, evie she let out a growl
"fuck sake Shannon! Leave now!!"
Shannon stands up before pushing abby and carter away "No! I'm not leaving you!"
"Shannon please. I can't focus until you're safe. Get out of here!"
The air fills with electric and I hear the snapping of bones. It's like time stood still as I see a little gray wolf stand where Shannon was once stood. Her blue eyes staring at evie
"I will not leave you evie!"
Shannon's wolf walks over to evie and rubs herself against her. I'm fighting the urge to not end chloe right now
"please evie. My wolf might be small but I'm okay"
Suddenly Shannon is knocked to the floor and chloe is on top of her, both wolves snapping at each other. I jump across the room and knock chloe off Shannon. She goes flying across the room again, Shannon stands up and growls at chloe
"Everyone fuck off now! She is my problem and I will handle her. Don't get involved again!"
Shannon charges towards chloe but chloe moves out the way and Shannon slams into the kitchen counter and she whimpers before getting up again. Me and evie growl at the same time, our growls almost shaking the walls.
"I said leave us alone!"
She jumps at chloe again this time knocking her off balance and swiping her claws across chloes face. Chloe howls in pain and Shannon jumps at her again pinning her to the floor, a flash of brown and gray rolls around the room, the sound of jaws snapping filling the air
A whimper fills the air again as Shannon bites down on chloes leg. Blood gushes out and Shannon stands back staring at chloe and licking her lips. Waiting for chloe to make the next move.
Shannon comes barreling towards us, blood now coming out of sides where chloe clawed her sides. She falls by evie she looks at me with a tired look before shaking herself off and standing up
"Shannon! Let us take over now!" I try to order her to stop but she obviously doesn't listen to me!
"I said she's mine!"
Shannon catches her breath and jumps back at chloe, evies takes forward Shannon is on top of chloe again, growls fill the and and then it falls silent. We all stare over at her. Chloes body slumps to the ground. Shannon turns towards us. Her mouth is covered in blood. She had ripped chloes throat out!!
