Joshs pov

"They're here boss" Mia mind link me

"Thanks"

I stand and nervously wait for them to pull in, I'm more nervous as kayleighs parents are coming to see the pack as well. The car pulls up and mum pats my arm

"you've got this"

Kayleigh jumps out and comes running up to me, I catch her as she jumps into my arms and slams her lips onto mine, I happily kiss her back goddess I've missed her! I finally put her down and she hugs my mum "hi mandy"

"Hello lovely how was the drive?"

"Yeah was cramped but good"

Shannon is next up as she hugs me and mum tightly, abi shakes our hand while Micheal and Sarah stand back for a minute I smile and nod at them and walk forward, Sarah goes to my mum

"lovely to see you again mandy"

"You too, are you staying for a drink?"

"Of course! Lead the way" Sarah smiles at mum and they walk into the house chatting, abi and kayleigh look at each other

"We'll head inside and meet up with you in a bit" kayleigh smiles as they walk off. Micheal is holding his ground with me and not looking down, once they're gone he nods at me

"Alpha, thank you for granting us permission to come here, kayleigh is our youngest and being so far away we just wanted to make sure she's going somewhere safe you know?"

I smile at him "I completely understand. I felt alot better once I met your pack and knew my sister was safe"

"So, care to show me around?"

We walk away from the house and I slowly make my way to the tree line

"Like every other pack we're surrounded by land, we have Miles of land to run and explore but we don't have a beautiful lake like you do but its definitely made ne want to put a pool in"

I laugh and then point to the houses "again like wolf creek I have my members close by in their own houses, me and family actually moved out the pack house after my father's death. That one there is mine and that one right over there is mums"

"Why did you leave the house after your father's death?" He looks curious as its not common for the pack house to not be lived in, we're slowly walking around the grounds as chat

"My mum found it hard being there. My father was attacked and killed by a rogue" I find myself starring at the spot where he died

"I'm sorry alpha that must of been tough" Micheal's voice snaps me out of my thoughts and I turn to him

"Please call me josh and yeah it hit our pack hard. He was good man, so anyway mum couldn't live there, she found it too hard being in the house where she spent her whole marriage with him, once she left I couldn't bare to be there on my own so I moved out as well"

"You're living there now I guess or do you just entertain guests there"

"We live there now. Mum said she needed to move forward and wanted to make it a proper house again. Me and the pack have spent the last few weeks getting the place and redecorating ready for kayleigh to cone here"

I smile over him and I see his eyes light up. Thankfully I think I'm passing all his questions

"Your beta? We haven't met him when you've visited?"

"That's correct, his mate recently had a baby. She's only a few months old so when I come down I've left him here to be with his family and watch the pack after our recent problems"
