Joshs pov.

I walk into mum's house and Shannon meets me in the hall "close your eyes!! No peaking"

I have no idea what they've done but I know she's led me to the lounge. She stands behind me and says "open your eyes!!"

I open my eyes and it takes me a moment but then I see my mum stood infront me, a massive smile on her face and she now has bright purple hair!

"Mum! What the fuck!" I can't help but laugh. My 52 year old old mother has purple hair!

She spins around and shows me the hair cut she's had as well. She no longer has long, thick dark hair but instead she's got a bob and it really suits her "what do you think! Kayleigh and Emily done it!!"

"Oh goddess mum, kayleigh is a bad influence on you" she smacks my arm and I smile "but seriously I love it mum, it actually really suits you! I'm glad your done but please don't go out getting Tattoos and piercings.."

"Hummm about that" kayleigh starts laughing beside me and Emily is trying to contain her laughter while stood with carter in front of me.

"Oh goddess what have you done!!" I burst out laughing again. Its like she's having a rebellious teenage years again

My mum smiles at me and rolls up her sleeve.  She's got 3 little hearts all slightly crossed over each other tattooed on her left upper arm. She smiles at me with tears in her eyes "that's your dad, you and Shannon. You three always have and always will have my heart. You three are the reason my heart beats"

Tears fill my eyes and I pull her into a hug "you soft old wolf" she chuckles against me and smiles. "I'll show shannon tomorrow. I'll let her spend time with evie tonight"

We all deice to stay with mum for a few hours before we head home. I cook me and kayleigh a pizza because we're both exhausted and just want to relax. Kayleigh pours us a glass of coke and we eat the pizza while watching tv "how's the leg feeling?"

"Mm? Oh yeah it's good, felt a little sore earlier when we was walking round but we stopped for a coffee so Emily could feed olive and it felt better"

"Glad to hear it"

"Want to sit outside with me for ten while I smoke a cigarette?"

"I'll pass" I laugh "like I said before I'd rather you quit that stuff. You go have your smoke I'll tidy the kitchen"

"You sure?"

"Yes, now go"

I watch her as she walks outside. She's got a slight limp but she'll be better in no time. I put on some music and quickly tidy up. I wash up, wipe down the sides before sweeping the kitchen, I make the sofa tidy again and fold the Blankets before hoovering. Once done kayleigh comes back in and smiles "ready for bed?" 

"Of course" she goes ahead while I lock up the house, we get upstairs and as soon as we're in the room I pick kayleigh up, she wraps her legs around me and our lips meet, the kiss is soft and slow.

I carry her to the bed and sit down so she straddles my lap "hmmmm goddess I've missed you"

I pull pack "kay I'm so sorry I've been so busy with everything go-"

She kisses me again "shut up and just kiss me josh"

I happily does as she says. She stands up and slowly undresses. I watch her as she stands naked with a beautiful smile "your turn"

I quickly stand up and undress, she eyes my body before she suddenly drops to her knees "kay what are-"
