chapter 38

Joshs pov

Me, Carter and Carl sit at the front the of the group, we've placed some chairs on in a semi circle by us. Samantha is sat to the left of Carl waiting.

Finally Irene walks in with 3 other woman and 2 men, they all smile and nod to us as they take a seat.

"Thank you for coming, I'm alpha josh. This is my beta Carter, and this is alpha Carl"

The first woman to speak has red hair and blue eyes, shes a small woman around 5ft and slim. "Hi. I'm jane" she smiles sweetly at us the woman next to her has short gray hair and bright blue eyes, she's around the same hight but is more of a bigger build  "Hi, I'm hazel" the man next to her has the same red hair and blue eyes as jane, hes around 5ft8 and a slim build. He nods to us "I'm mark" the other man nods to us, he's got gray hair and green eyes, he's a little taller than mark but the same build "I'm Shaun" and then finally the woman the on the end. She's got long white hair and light blue eyes but they sparkle with a tint of purple "and I'm Pamela but please call me pam"

Carter suddenly leans forward. "Your eyes"

"Yes?" Pam smiles sweetly at him

"Why do they have tints of purple?"

"Well my dear, when someone has tints of purple it means their power is strong. I am the oldest and most powerful of our little group"

Carter is silent next to me "can I ask why you asked? I'm guessing it's not because you find me attractive so what's the real question dear?"

"The witch we had in the cells. She had brown eyes but tints of purple, I've never seen it before"

"Oh goddess. This isn't good. She isn't a normal witch I'm affaird. She is very strong and might be hard to defeat her but don't worry just yet, with all of us on your side I'm sure we'll come out stronger" she smiles sweetly at him but I'm now filled with worry. We've never encountered witches before and the first time we do, it's a powerful one.

"So I guess Irene has explained why we need your help?" I ask them and they all nod.

"Okay, so the young woman next to Carl is Samantha,  she is the witch's sister. She has agreed to help us but she isn't strong enough on her own"

Pam stands up and walks to Samantha, the sudden movement scared her and she leans back in her seat. Pam stands in front of her, takes her hand and closes her eyes. Samantha doesn't move, she's frozen in place and doesn't take her eyes off her. Pam let's out a breath and let's go of Samantha.

"Oh my love, you're so wrong. You are very powerful in deed, you just never learnt your true potential"

"Sorry?" Samantha has her mouth wide open clearly in shock

"I can see your powers lovely, I have a gift of being able to read people's past ans future, I can also read their powers. When I held your hand I saw your parents were very strong and powerful which means you and your sisters carry that power. Most witches start learning at a more advanced level when they're 16 but I see the tragedy that struck your family when you reached that age. Your sister should of shown you the way but she didn't. If you need guidance please let me know"

Samantha has tears falling down her cheeks. I know her parents death is hard for her but I never knew what happened but I'm guess pam saw it

"Thank you pam, I learnt the basics when I was younger and have been training on my own but learning from the books isn't as good as learning from someone I'll happily take you up on that offer"

Pam nods and sits back down.

"Well pam you really are a special one aren't you" Irene smiles at her "I knew It was the right idea to contact you"
