Kayleighs pov

Kayleigh -  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! HAPPY BORTHDAY TO YOU!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR GEORGE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! 

Yes! You're finally 18, I can't wait to take you out for a drink!! Xxx

I text George once I'm up and ready. He's finally 18 today and he's been excited about being able to legally drink and to meet his wolf and hopefully his mate. He's 5 years younger than me but I've watched him grow up and honestly love him like a brother. He's the most quiet, sweet, laid back guy.

George - Thank you!!! 😁 I'm so excited but I've got to spend time with the family today but Toby mentioned going to a few pubs later tonight if you're up for it? Lucy and Jason are coming and a few mates from college might come along as well? Xxxx

Kayleigh - course I'm coming!! I'm not going to say no to a drink lol. I'll let you go but let me know what time you're all meeting up and I'll make sure I'm ready, have a good day pup! Xxx

George - I'm not a pup anymore!! Lol think we're heading out around 6? Have some food and then go out. Right mums moaning at me for being on my phone. See you later xxx

I head down to the kitchen and see evie, shannon, abi and kai all at the table "morning guys" I smile at everyone

"Can tell we haven't got training today. Kayleigh is always in better mood when we don't have to train" Evie laughs but shes right, I'm alot better when we don't have training..

"We're going out tonight for georges 18th, you guys coming? It's only Toby, jace, Lucy and a few of his friends from college"

I look at the group and notice Shannon looking down "everything okay shan"

She looks up at me "hmm yeah, it's just I haven't been out partying since I was like 15/16 years old. I don't know how to feel about it"

I show her a big smile "you can shift now, you're a bad ass woman with a scarey ass alpha mate and will be surrounded by shifters?! You don't need to be scared! We can all get ready together. Go for food, have some drinks, dance and get absolutely shit faced!! It's been so long since I saw abi and evie drunk so I think we need it"

Her eyes light up and she giggles "your right" She looks at evie "can we go to town so I can buy a dress"

Before evie can reply abi jumps up "noo! We'll go shopping!! It can be a surprise for evie!!"

Evie shrugs her shoulders "fine with me, I don't like shopping anyway"

Finally, 2pm and we've chosen a dress for Shannon. Me and abi also got new dresses as well as we couldn't resist. Abi finally agrees to help me dye my hair for me, I send George a message and let him know everyone else is coming which he's fine with.

Later in the evening me, shannon and abi are in abis room getting ready. Shannon picked out a white lace dress which hugs her figure nicely, she's got her long brown hair in loose curls that come down her back, I lent her some black heels and she looks amazing. She does a nervous twirl "soo, what do you think"

Me and abi whistle at her "whoo girl! You look amazing!!" Abi smiles at her.

"Damm Shannon!! You scrub up well"

She blushes and smiles at us "Thanks ladies"

Abi went for a light blue long sleeved dress that is below her knee in length but a slit up the right leg. Her long blonde hair is pulled back into a bun with a few loose strands over her face. She also gives us a twirl and we all cheer and whistle while she bows at us. We all giggle and finally it's my turn. I went with a pastel yellow strappy dress that sits just above my knee, it's a low cut and shows off my cleavage. I've straightened my hair so my now dark blue hair falls over shoulders. I smile as the girls whistle at me.

"well ladies. I think we look dam sexy if I do say so myself" abi says as she pulls out her phone "come on! We need a picture!!"

We take a couple of photos and she sends to them to me. I look up joshs number and send him the photo. Less than a minute later I have a reply

Josh - you all look beautiful! Tell Shannon she's literally glowing! Being there with you is really suiting her, and you kayleigh have just blown my mind!! You look absolutely beautiful, I wish I could be there with you. Make sure you all stay safe and please message me when you're home so I know you're okay xxx

I tell Shannon and she shows me a sad smile. "I really miss him"

I give her a little hug "I know you do. He misses you too and I'm sure we'll be seeing him soon, come on let's meet the others"

We go down and find evie and kai in the kitchen making some pre drinks. Kai has put on a pair of black jeans, a white shirt and black shoes. His beard his trimmed and his hair is styled messy. He turns round and looks at abi full of love before rushing over and pulling her into him. Evie has a pair of back trousers on and a white lace top with a pair of smart black heels. She's done a little make up and her dark hair is in a pony tail. She looks at Shannon the same way kai looked at abi "dammm!" Shannon blushes and hugs evie. I stand kind of awkwardly as I have no mate to compliment me that way. I feel a pinch of sadness that josh couldn't be here. As I thought of him, sure enough he pops into my head

"Hey beautiful, stop that right now. I can feel your sadness! Go and enjoy yourself. I'll be with you soon"

"I know I just miss you"

"I miss you too beautiful.  Go and have a good night"

I cut off the connection and turn to the group "who's up for a drink then!!" Everyone cheers and picks up a shot

"Down the hatch!!"
