epilogue

             **** 4 years later ****

I straighten my tie and smooth my suit one more time "you look fine josh!" Mum screams at me "come on! We need to go"

She walks out the room and slams the door, i take a breath and head out to the corridor. Shannon is stood waiting for me and I can't help but let a tear fall when i see her. Her dress fits her perfectly, it's a smooth silk dress that has a long train at the back. Her hair is now light brown with some blonde tints in it and the curls frame her face. Her big blue eyes are sparking as she rushes to me to hug me

Emily and olive stand behind her and olive comes up to me "look uncle josh! I have flowers!"

She's gotten so big already, she still has her dad's dark blonde hair but her mothers light blue eyes.

"Ready kid?" I ask her

"Let's do this!" She smiles at me and we stand by the big doors. We hear the music begin to play and the doors open. Olive skips out and starts throwing the petals down the isle "look daddy!! I'm doing it!!" She screams at carter and everyone laughs, she's so bloody adorable at times.

We look out and see people are sat in rows of chairs while evie is stood at the front with her back towards us. Abi, Sarah, Sophie and kayleigh are the brides maids and they have kai, George and carter as brides men. I've never heard of it before shannon Insisted the men have a roll as well. We take a breath and start walking down the isle. I was shocked when she asked me to give her away but without dad here she said I was like father figure to her and I swear I've never cried so much as I did that day. I look to kayleigh who wearing a pastel yellow silk dress, her hand on her massive bump. She absolutely glowing while she carries my twin pups. In a little over 6 weeks we'll get to meet them "you look beautiful" I mind link her and she smiles at me, we reach the end of the end of the isle and evie turns round to face shannon her dark brown eyes light up and a smile spreads over her face. Evie went for a white suit as she don't do dresses but she looks beautiful.  I nod to evie as she takes Shannon's hand I go and stand by carter. We're all quiet while priest speaks. The whole thing lasts nearly an hour but it's finally time for them to become Mrs and Mrs walker-davies

He clears his throat and looks at evie
"Do you, evie davies, take Shannon walker be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?''

"I do" I see Shannon smile and her eyes begin to fill

He looks towards shannon and repeats it again. A single tear drops down her cheek as she nods her head "I do"

“evie and Shannon have declared their marriage by the joining of hands and by the giving away and receiving of rings. I, therefore, proclaim that they are wife and wife. You may now kiss your bride"

we all cheer as evie grabs shannon and dips her down to kiss her they both laugh and bow to the people infront of them, we all clap and cheer as they walk out the church holding hands as Mrs and Mrs walker-davies

I sit down next to kayleighs who looks exhausted "you okay babe?"

"No, my back and feet are killing me!"

"Want to leave? They'll understand babe. You're 34 weeks pregnant with twins. That's hard work"

"No, I'm fine. Help me up I need a wee again!"

I help her stand and watch as she waddles away, one hand on her lower back and the other on her hip. This pregnancy has been rough for her but now she's getting even bigger she's really struggling with her back and hips. I'm so greatful that she's going through for us
