Tungsten

I settled myself on top of Maya and stared at her. Itinukod ko ang kanang siko sa unan habang ang katawan ay patagilid na nakahiga sa gilid ni Maya. Minutes have passed but nothing happened. Walang dumarating na bampira. I'm starting to have a doubt if our plan will succeed. Will he take the bait? What if he don't? Maghihintay na naman kami ng panibagong pagkakataon na walang kasiguraduhan.

Napatingin ako sa direksyon ng bintana. Ganun pa rin ang ayos, nakaawang ng bahagya ang bintana at nagwawala ang mga kurtina dahil sa hangin.

Muli akong naghintay ng ilang minuto pero wala pa rin. Naghintay pa ako hanggang lumipas muli ang tatlumpung minuto pero ganun din. Hanggang sa naging isang oras, dalawa, at tatlo.
