"Alright, Isogai, please answer this question." Korosensei instructed with his signature yellow smile plastered onto his face.

I wasn't really listening. My thoughts were occupied by images of mine and Akabane's.. outing.

My eyes wandered to the red-head sitting beside me. A book lay flat on his face while he leaned back into his chair.

"Y/N!" Our teacher's voice called, "it's not wise to ignore the lesson when you have exams coming up!"

"Sorry, sir..." I hung my head down from the guilty attention. "At least im pretending to pay attention! This guy's fast asleep!"

I pointed an accusing finger at the sleeping beauty beside me.

"Can't really blame Karma for sleeping." One of our male classmates piped up.

"Yeah. I mean, who needs good grades when you have 10 billion in the bank?"

"Exactly, this assassination's all that we need." The whole class agreed in unison.

"You all really think that?!" Our teacher questioned in absolute shock.

"We're the end class." Okajima - the perverted boy with the shaved head responded."

"Assassination is way more accessible to us than any exam." A few chuckles were heard.

Everybody was laid back and relaxed until Korosensei's next words,

"I see. You still do not have what it takes to be assassins."

His bright yellow skin turned dark purple, meaning we had gotten something wrong...

"Out into the schoolyard, all of you!" Without the smile leaving his face, Korosensei's voice grew dark, like he was angry. He flew out of the classroom and was out in the field within a second.

We awkwardly shuffled out of our seats, not really knowing why we were being summoned outside.

I nudged Akabane, waking the red-head. I made sure he followed. He didn't venture far from the classroom's wooden outside walls while I hurried over to Kaede.

"What's going on?" I whispered.
"Beats me." she shrugged.

We stood near the back of the crowd while Korosensei faced us, standing on the overgrown weeds and grass.

"Miss Irina." He said. The blonde made an audible 'hmm?' in shock.

"In an assignment, is it often that things go according to your plan?"

"Of course not. A good assassin will always have backup plans for any unexpected obstacles along the way."

"Mr Karasuma," the attention shifted onto the man with spiky eyebrows, "When teaching knife-combat strategies, is the first strike the most important one?"
