Heeseung paced back and forth in the waiting room, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. The usual stoic ace was nowhere to be seen—replaced instead by a jealous boyfriend trying (and failing) to keep his emotions in check.

On the monitor in front of him, Sunoo was shining like the star he was, sitting in the middle of the group during a live stream. Everyone gravitated toward him, as always. Jungwon leaned into Sunoo’s space, laughing at something he said. Jake draped his arm casually over Sunoo’s shoulder, while Jay playfully fed him a snack.

It wasn’t their fault Sunoo was so magnetic—Heeseung knew that. But it didn’t mean he had to like it.

Heeseung’s patience finally snapped when Sunghoon leaned closer to fix Sunoo’s hair, earning a sweet giggle in response.

“That’s it,” Heeseung muttered, storming toward the frame .

The members didn’t even notice Heeseung entering the frame until he stood directly behind Sunoo. The chat exploded immediately:

> OMG Heeseung’s here!!
Why does he look… mad?
Is this about Sunoo? Help, I’m living!

Sunoo looked up, startled by Heeseung’s sudden appearance. “Hyung? What are you doing here?”

“Just checking on things,” Heeseung said, his tone clipped as he squeezed himself into the small space beside Sunoo. His arm immediately found its way around Sunoo’s waist, pulling him close.

Jungwon raised an eyebrow. “Hyung, we’re just doing a live stream.”

“Yeah,” Jake chimed in with a grin, “you didn’t have to rush in like we were stealing your boyfriend or something.”

Heeseung’s lips twitched. “I’m not worried. Just… making sure Sunoo isn’t being overworked.”

Sunoo blinked, then smirked as realization dawned. “Oh, you’re jealous.”

The chat went wild:

> JEALOUS HEESUNG OMG!!!
Sunoo knows EXACTLY what he’s doing.
The way Heeseung is clinging to Sunoo LOL.

Heeseung stiffened. “I’m not jealous.”

“You’re jealous,” Sunoo repeated, poking his cheek playfully. “Aww, Bambi, don’t worry. You know you’re my favorite, right?”

The nickname made Heeseung falter, a light blush creeping up his neck. “Don’t call me that here.”

“But it’s cute, like you,” Sunoo teased, leaning his head on Heeseung’s shoulder.

The other members burst out laughing, and Jungwon clapped his hands. “I think Sunoo just tamed our oldest.”

Heeseung groaned, burying his face in his free hand. “You’re all impossible.”

When the live ended, the teasing didn’t stop. Jake and Jay imitated Heeseung’s protective stance, while Sunghoon declared, “I didn’t realize our oldest could be this possessive.”

Heeseung ignored them all, grabbing Sunoo’s wrist and dragging him out of the room.

Once they were alone, Heeseung sighed, leaning back against the wall. “You know they’re never going to let me live this down, right?”

Sunoo smiled up at him, wrapping his arms around Heeseung’s waist. “And whose fault is that, Bambi?”

Heeseung groaned again but didn’t pull away. Instead, he leaned down to rest his forehead against Sunoo’s. “You’re lucky I love you.”

“I know,” Sunoo said with a soft laugh, tugging Heeseung down for a kiss. “And for the record, you’re the only one who gets to call me yours.”

That was all Heeseung needed to hear to let the chaos slide—for now.

After pulling Sunoo out of the room, Heeseung decided he needed some fresh air—and more importantly, alone time with Sunoo. The teasing from the members was getting unbearable, and his jealousy still hadn’t quite subsided.

“Where are we going?” Sunoo asked as Heeseung led him toward the practice rooms.

“Somewhere they can’t follow us,” Heeseung muttered, pushing the door open and tugging Sunoo inside.

Once they were alone, Heeseung let go of Sunoo’s wrist and exhaled heavily, leaning against the mirror. He crossed his arms, his expression still a mix of irritation and embarrassment.

Sunoo tilted his head, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “You’re really upset, huh?”

“I’m not upset,” Heeseung said, avoiding Sunoo’s gaze. “I just don’t like how close they were to you today.”

Sunoo couldn’t help but laugh softly, walking over to stand in front of him. “You’re so cute when you’re jealous, Bambi.”

There it was again—that nickname. Heeseung groaned, running a hand through his hair. “Can you stop calling me that?”

“Nope,” Sunoo said cheerfully. “It suits you perfectly. You’re my Bambi—adorable, a little dramatic, and so protective it’s almost ridiculous.”

Heeseung’s eyes narrowed, but before he could retort, Sunoo reached out and grabbed his hand, lacing their fingers together. “I mean it in a good way, you know. I think it’s sweet.”

“You think this is sweet?” Heeseung asked, his voice softening as he glanced down at their joined hands.

Sunoo nodded, stepping closer. “Of course. It just means you care about me a lot.”

“I do,” Heeseung admitted quietly. “Maybe too much sometimes. I know it’s silly, but I can’t help it. You’re always so bright, so easy to love… It feels like everyone wants a piece of you.”

Sunoo’s expression softened at the confession. “Hey,” he said, cupping Heeseung’s cheek. “You don’t have to feel that way. You’re the only one I want, okay? No one else even comes close.”

Heeseung leaned into Sunoo’s touch, his eyes searching Sunoo’s for any trace of doubt. When he found none, he smiled—a small, genuine smile that made Sunoo’s heart flutter.

“You’re really something else,” Heeseung murmured.

“And you’re my Bambi,” Sunoo replied with a grin, pulling Heeseung down into a hug.

Back to the Dorm

When they returned to the dorm later that night, the other members were lounging in the living room, clearly waiting for them.

“Oh look, they’re back!” Jake called out, smirking. “Did you two work out your issues, or is Bambi still mad?”

Heeseung groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Can we not?”

“Bambi! Bambi! Bambi!” Jungwon and Sunghoon started chanting, clearly enjoying themselves.

“Enough,” Heeseung said, trying to sound stern but failing to hide his embarrassment.

Sunoo, ever the instigator, chimed in. “Leave him alone. My Bambi needs his rest.”

The room erupted in laughter, and Heeseung threw his hands up in defeat. “I’m going to bed,” he announced, grabbing Sunoo’s hand and dragging him toward their shared room.

As the door closed behind them, Sunoo collapsed onto the bed, laughing uncontrollably. Heeseung sighed, sitting down beside him.

“You’re impossible,” he said, though his tone was affectionate.

“And you love me for it,” Sunoo teased, pulling Heeseung down beside him.

“Yeah,” Heeseung admitted with a soft smile, wrapping his arms around Sunoo. “I really do.”

And despite all the chaos, Heeseung knew he wouldn’t trade moments like this for anything in the world.
