The teaser had dropped, and the world stood still.
Sunoo's angelic voice filled the thirty-second clip with haunting emotion, carrying the essence of the iconic Goblin OST "Beautiful" like it was meant for him. His smile was soft yet captivating, and the warm lighting of the studio reflected the beauty in his soulful eyes. Fans were ecstatic, blowing up the comment sections of every platform, but no one was more whipped than his six lovers.
“Did you hear it?” Heeseung muttered, his phone playing the teaser on loop. His sharp eyes, usually calm and collected, now had a dreamy glint.
“Of course I did,” Jay replied, slouching on the couch but clearly far from relaxed. He replayed the teaser for the seventh time, his fingers tapping against his knee. “It’s insane. How does he sound that perfect?!”
“I know, right?” Jake chimed in, sitting cross-legged on the floor with his laptop open. He was supposed to be finalizing a report, but the only tab he cared about was the one playing Sunoo’s teaser.
“Did you guys notice his little smile at the end?” Sunghoon said, smirking but also internally dying. He rewound the clip to the exact moment Sunoo’s lips curled ever so slightly after the last note. “That’s illegal. He knows what he’s doing to us.”
Jungwon, usually the composed one of the group, shook his head with a helpless smile. “I can’t even focus on work anymore. Do you think he’ll show us the full version before it’s released?”
“Not a chance,” Niki said, sprawled out on the carpet with a pillow under his chin. “He knows we’re weak for him. He’s going to make us wait, just like everyone else.”
When Sunoo walked into the living room, he was greeted by the sight of his six lovers huddled together, their expressions a mix of awe, longing, and pure frustration.
“What’s going on?” Sunoo asked innocently, his voice light as he placed his bag on the chair.
The room erupted.
“Sunoo!” Jake practically lunged at him, grabbing his hands. “When can we hear the full song? Please don’t make us wait until the release date!”
“You’re driving us crazy,” Jay added, standing up and pulling Sunoo into a loose hug. “I’ve listened to the teaser more times than I can count, and it’s still not enough.”
Sunoo laughed, the sound like bells ringing in spring. “You guys are so dramatic.”
“Dramatic?” Heeseung raised a brow, stepping closer. “You don’t understand. That teaser was 30 seconds of heaven, and now we’re suffering in silence.”
“You should’ve seen Sunghoon,” Jungwon teased, smirking. “He kept rewinding the part where you smiled.”
“I–” Sunghoon started to protest but stopped when Sunoo turned his gaze to him, a playful glint in his eyes.
“Is that true, Sunghoon?” Sunoo asked sweetly, tilting his head.
“Maybe,” Sunghoon muttered, looking away but unable to hide the blush creeping up his neck.
Sunoo’s laughter filled the room again as he settled on the couch, surrounded by his loves. “I promise it’ll be worth the wait. But for now…” He reached for his phone and played a private snippet of the full song, his voice soaring through the melody.
The room fell silent.
As the final note played, Heeseung was the first to break the silence, his voice low and filled with emotion. “Sunoo, that was… breathtaking.”
“You’re amazing,” Niki added, his usual playfulness replaced by genuine admiration.
Sunoo smiled, his heart full from their support. “Thank you, really. It means a lot coming from you guys.”
