THEIR FOREVER

It was a typical day at the campus cafeteria, and Sunoo, in his usual college attire, walked in, his arms full of pastries fresh from Sunbeam Café. His favorite sweet treats—croissants, cookies, and a dozen different flavored muffins—were carefully arranged in baskets.

He made his way to the table where his group of "brothers" were gathered. He was used to their antics, the way they always teased him and cared for him, often bringing him random snacks and making sure he was always taken care of. Little did he know, though, that their love for him went much deeper than simple brotherly affection.

"Hey, Sunoo! Did you bake these yourself?" Heeseung asked, raising an eyebrow as he grabbed a chocolate chip cookie. His gaze lingered on Sunoo for a second longer than usual, his heart doing a weird flip.

"Of course! It's my café’s specialty, you know," Sunoo replied nonchalantly, not noticing the way Heeseung's eyes softened.

Jay, sitting beside him, immediately leaned in with an exaggerated pout. "Sunoo, you’re spoiling us again. You’re literally the best, you know that? I don't know what we'd do without you."

Sunoo blinked, genuinely confused. "Uh, you guys are my brothers. I just wanted to share the love with you."

Jake, who had been quiet up until then, suddenly interjected with a dramatic sigh. "You’re just so perfect. The way you talk, the way you smile, even the way you tie your shoes is just... chef’s kiss."

Sunoo stared at him, blinking in utter confusion. "Uh, Jake? Are you okay? It’s just shoes."

"No, no, Sunoo, it's more than that. You don’t understand," Jake responded, dramatically clutching his chest as if he was wounded by the sheer beauty of Sunoo's existence.

Sunghoon, not one to be left out, leaned forward with a mischievous grin. "You really don't get it, do you? You're the glue that holds us all together. You’ve always been there for us... more than a brother should be."

"Yeah!" Jungwon chimed in, his eyes sparkling with a sincerity that would make anyone believe he was about to confess a deep, heartfelt truth. "You're like... the sun in our lives. We can't imagine a day without you. Seriously, Sunoo, if you ever left us, we'd be lost."

"Wait, wait, hold on!" Niki jumped up, pointing dramatically at Sunoo. "This is the moment! I can’t keep it in any longer. Sunoo, we all love you so much—like, in a special way."

There was a long, awkward pause as Sunoo blinked, trying to process what Niki had just said. "Wait, you guys... are you trying to tell me something?"

The members collectively froze, and then it was chaos.

Heeseung stood up and pointed at Sunoo. "We’re in love with you, idiot! Like, not just brotherly love, but real love!"

Jay, suddenly flustered, jumped up to cover Heeseung’s mouth. "Shut up, you’re ruining everything!"

Jake facepalmed. "Seriously, man, we’ve been trying to subtly tell him for weeks, and you had to go and say it out loud?"

Sunghoon grabbed Sunoo by the shoulders, shaking him slightly. "Sunoo, it’s not just about the pastries. It’s not about how good you look when you smile while making coffee either. It’s about us, us being in love with you, okay?!"

Sunoo’s brain went into overdrive. "Wait, so... you all... you all love me like that?"

"YES!" Jungwon and Niki shouted at the same time, both blushing furiously but equally determined.

Sunoo just stared at them, dumbfounded. "I... I thought you guys were just... I don't know... overprotective brothers? Like, I'm not even that good at baking! Why would you guys be in love with me?"
