Kim Sunoo is in trouble. After a little white lie spiraled out of control, he now has to introduce his supposed "boyfriend" to his beloved Mamita during her grand birthday celebration in a month. To make things worse, Mamita is a stickler for perfection and has made it clear—her approval is everything.

With time running out, Sunoo turns to his six closest friends, each with their unique quirks, charm, and undeniable affection for him. They agree to his request to pretend to be his boyfriend for a month to help him pull off the ultimate act. But what starts as a game quickly turns into a whirlwind of emotions.

The Candidates:

1. Heeseung – The talented and reliable senior who has a knack for making Sunoo laugh at the most unexpected times.

2. Jay – The confident charmer who’s been secretly harboring feelings for Sunoo and sees this as his chance to prove himself.

3. Jake – The sweet and caring best friend who’s always been there, even if Sunoo never noticed just how much he cared.

4. Jungwon – The soft-spoken yet protective childhood friend who’s willing to do anything for Sunoo, even if it means risking their friendship.

5. Sunghoon – The cool and reserved figure skater who’s more awkward than charming but has a way of showing his care in small, meaningful ways.

6. Niki – The youngest and most playful of the bunch, who’s determined to prove that age doesn’t matter when it comes to love.

Day 1: The Announcement

The boys were scattered across Sunoo’s cozy apartment, the faint aroma of coffee and snacks lingering in the air. Heeseung was perched on the arm of the couch, scrolling through his phone, while Jay lounged with his legs propped up on the coffee table. Jake and Jungwon were playing a quiet game of cards, Sunghoon scrolled mindlessly on his phone, and Niki was sprawled on the floor, absentmindedly munching on chips.

Sunoo stood in the middle of the room, nervously wringing his hands. His lips pressed together in a thin line before he clapped his hands loudly, startling everyone.

“Guys! I need your help!”

The six heads turned to him in unison, each one wearing a different expression of curiosity and mild concern.

“What is it this time?” Jay asked, his voice laced with skepticism. “Another shopping spree emergency?”

“No! This is serious!” Sunoo shot back, his cheeks flushing.

Jake tilted his head. “How serious are we talking? Like ‘spilled-coffee-on-your-favorite-shirt’ serious, or ‘your-Mamita-found-out-you-lied’ serious?”

Sunoo winced, and Jake’s eyes widened.

“Oh no. Don’t tell me—”

“I… may have told Mamita that I have a boyfriend,” Sunoo admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

The room fell silent.

Sunghoon raised an eyebrow. “You? A boyfriend?”

“Hey! What’s that supposed to mean?” Sunoo shot him a glare.

“Nothing! Just… you’ve never mentioned anyone before,” Sunghoon replied, holding up his hands in mock surrender.

“You don’t have a boyfriend, though,” Niki pointed out bluntly, his mouth full of chips.

Sunoo groaned, burying his face in his hands. “I know! But I panicked, okay? She kept asking when I was going to settle down, and before I knew it, I said I was already seeing someone. Now she wants to meet him at her birthday party next month!”
