The dorm was unusually lively today. Sunoo had barely stepped into the living room when he was immediately bombarded by a wave of affection from all directions.
“Heeeey, Sunoo! Let’s play Xbox!” Heeseung’s voice rang out as he waved a controller enthusiastically. Beside him, Ni-ki was already setting up the console, eyes sparkling with determination.
“You’re on my team, Sunoo-hyung!” Ni-ki declared, shooting Heeseung a competitive smirk.
Before Sunoo could respond, he felt a soft tug on his hoodie. “No, Sunoo, let’s just chill,” Jungwon interjected, his voice calm but firm. “We can watch a movie or something.” Sunghoon, sitting lazily on the couch, nodded in agreement.
“Yeah, cuddles sound better. You don’t need to exhaust yourself gaming with those two.” His eyes flickered over to Heeseung and Ni-ki, who were now arguing over which game to play.
Sunoo blinked, unsure whom to respond to first. “Uh…”
Suddenly, Jake popped his head in from the kitchen, a grin lighting up his face. “Sunoo-yah! Let’s go out! There’s this new Lego set I saw online—I swear you’ll love it!” His enthusiasm was infectious, and before Sunoo could even think, Jake was halfway out the door, waiting for an answer.
Feeling overwhelmed, Sunoo raised his hands in surrender. “Guys, one at a time! I only have two hands and one brain!”
Heeseung, ever the leader, stood up and clapped his hands for attention. “Alright, alright. Let’s make a schedule!”
“That’s not fair!” Ni-ki pouted. “I called dibs first!”
“Cuddles don’t even need a schedule,” Sunghoon muttered, already patting the spot next to him on the couch.
Sunoo sighed, but a smile tugged at his lips. He loved how much his members adored him, even if their clinginess could be a little overwhelming.
“Okay, here’s the plan,” he said, taking charge. “Xbox for thirty minutes, cuddles for thirty minutes, and then Jake and I will go buy the Lego set. Deal?”
A chorus of agreement erupted, though Sunoo could already see Heeseung and Ni-ki plotting ways to extend their gaming time. Jungwon and Sunghoon exchanged a satisfied glance, knowing cuddles would still be the best part of the day.
And Jake? Well, he was already Googling directions to the nearest Lego store, determined to make it the highlight of Sunoo’s day.
As chaotic as it was, Sunoo couldn’t help but feel grateful for the love surrounding him. Being the center of attention had its perks, after all.
Sunoo settled onto the couch, feeling the weight of all their eyes on him. “Alright, Heeseung, Ni-ki, you two get the first thirty minutes. But if you argue, I’m cutting it down to fifteen.”
The two immediately straightened up, Heeseung holding up the Xbox controller with a mock salute. “Roger that, Sunoo Commander!”
Ni-ki grinned as he tossed a second controller to Sunoo. “You’re gonna be my lucky charm, hyung. Let’s crush Heeseung hyung.”
“Excuse me? I’m the best here. You’re the one who needs luck!” Heeseung shot back, though he sat down next to Sunoo without further complaint.
As the game began, the room quickly filled with laughter and playful banter. Heeseung kept trying to distract Sunoo by poking his side, while Ni-ki shouted directions like a backseat gamer.
“Hyung, press A! No, B! Wait, dodge—dodge!” Ni-ki yelled.
“I am dodging!” Sunoo retorted, bursting into laughter when Heeseung’s character got taken out.
