Jungwon adjusted his uniform, his thoughts preoccupied with the usual routine of another school day. It was supposed to be an ordinary morning until the classroom door slid open, revealing a familiar face he never thought he’d see again.

"Class, we have a new transfer student," the teacher announced, stepping aside to let the newcomer introduce himself.

Sunoo stepped forward with his signature warm smile, his presence instantly lighting up the room. "Hi, everyone. I'm Kim Sunoo. I just moved to the city and look forward to getting to know all of you!" His voice was soft, but it carried a confidence that caught everyone's attention.

Jungwon froze, his mind reeling. Sunoo? Here? At my school? He blinked, trying to process the sudden appearance of the boy he’d harbored a quiet crush on. But something else made his jaw drop: Sunoo looked...different. His adorable, angelic face hadn’t changed, but his physique was noticeably more toned and athletic.

"Sunoo, you can take the seat beside Yang Jungwon," the teacher said, pointing to the empty spot next to Jungwon.

As Sunoo made his way to the seat, Jungwon felt a mix of excitement and panic bubbling up inside him. When Sunoo plopped into the chair, he turned to Jungwon with a playful smile. "Jungwon! I didn’t know you went to this school!"

"I... didn’t know you were transferring," Jungwon stammered, his cheeks heating up.

Sunoo chuckled. "I wanted it to be a surprise. I missed hanging out with you, so I thought, why not move closer?"

Jungwon's heart skipped a beat at the casual confession. "Y-You missed me?"

"Of course," Sunoo said, leaning closer. "You’re one of my closest friends. But wow, you’ve gotten cuter since I last saw you."

Jungwon's face turned crimson, and he looked away, trying to hide his flustered expression. "I could say the same about you… but not just cute—you’ve gotten… um… buff?"

Sunoo laughed, the sound warm and musical. "Oh, you noticed? I’ve been working out a bit. Do you like it?" He flexed his arm slightly, teasing Jungwon with a wink.

Jungwon’s words caught in his throat, and he quickly shook his head to clear his thoughts. "I-it looks good on you."

For the rest of the day, Jungwon found himself stealing glances at Sunoo, his mind a whirlwind of emotions. Sunoo had always been someone he admired, but seeing him here, closer than ever, made his feelings even harder to ignore.

Later that afternoon, as they walked home together, Sunoo playfully nudged Jungwon. "You seem quiet today. Something on your mind?"

Jungwon hesitated before blurting out, "I just didn’t expect you to be here. You being… you know… even more amazing than before makes it harder to act normal."

Sunoo stopped walking and turned to face Jungwon, a soft smile playing on his lips. "You think I’m amazing?"

Jungwon nodded shyly. "Yeah, I do."

Sunoo's eyes softened, and he reached out to gently ruffle Jungwon’s hair. "You’re pretty amazing yourself, Jungwon. And now that I’m here, let’s make the most of it, okay?"

Jungwon couldn’t help but smile, his heart swelling with warmth. Having Sunoo close was going to be an adventure, one he was ready to embrace—especially if it meant spending more time with the person who had unknowingly captured his heart.

Jungwon’s excitement over Sunoo’s arrival was quickly overshadowed by an unexpected—and slightly irritating—development: everyone else at school seemed to be just as mesmerized by Sunoo as he was.
