It all started innocently enough. Sunoo, standing in front of the mirror, admired himself in his new sleeveless shirt. The weather was blazing hot, and this outfit was perfect—simple, airy, and undeniably cute. He was excited to step out with the group, but little did he know what chaos awaited him.
The other members were gathered in the living room, preparing for their outing when Sunoo appeared. As soon as he walked in, the air shifted. Conversations died down, and six pairs of eyes fixated on him.
“Sunoo…” Heeseung began, his voice hesitant, “What are you wearing?”
“A sleeveless shirt,” Sunoo replied cheerfully, twirling to show off his outfit. “Isn’t it cute?”
Jay frowned, stepping closer. “It’s too cute. Don’t you think it’s a little... revealing?”
“It’s just my arms!” Sunoo laughed, brushing off their reactions.
But the rest of the group wasn’t having it.
The group entered the store, but Sunoo barely made it three steps inside before Heeseung pulled him aside.
“Hey, let me just… fix this,” Heeseung muttered, tugging at the hem of Sunoo’s shirt to stretch it down a little further.
“Hyung, what are you doing? It’s fine!” Sunoo protested, but Heeseung wasn’t listening.
Nearby, Jay grabbed a jacket from the store rack and handed it to Sunoo. “Here, wear this. It’s better.”
“I don’t need a jacket! It’s hot!” Sunoo argued, his pout only making him look cuter—which didn’t help.
“Exactly why you need to cover up,” Jay muttered under his breath, glaring at a passing customer who had dared to glance at Sunoo.
The group found a shady spot under a tree to relax. Sunoo was happily taking selfies when Jake and Jungwon approached him.
“Let’s trade places,” Jake suggested, standing directly in front of Sunoo to block him from view.
“Why?” Sunoo asked, confused.
“No reason,” Jungwon replied quickly, pulling Sunoo’s shirt collar up slightly. “Just making sure you don’t catch a cold.”
“It’s 35 degrees out!” Sunoo exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Niki and Sunghoon had taken it upon themselves to keep anyone from getting too close to their precious Sunoo.
“Don’t stare for too long,” Niki warned a group of fans who had gathered nearby.
“Yeah, this area’s off-limits,” Sunghoon added, crossing his arms.
By the time they got home, Sunoo was fed up. “Okay, seriously, what is wrong with you guys? Why are you acting so weird today?”
“Weird? We’re just looking out for you,” Heeseung said, avoiding his gaze.
“You’re acting like I walked out in my underwear!” Sunoo exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.
Jay sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s not that, Sunoo. It’s just... you look too good in sleeveless. People can’t handle it.”
“What he means is, we can’t handle it,” Jungwon added sheepishly.
Sunoo blinked at them, his cheeks flushing slightly. “You guys are ridiculous.”
“Maybe,” Jake admitted, draping a blanket over Sunoo’s shoulders, “but you’re ours to protect.”
Sunoo rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide the small smile on his face. “Fine. But next time, I’m choosing what to wear, and you’re all just going to have to deal with it.”
