The ENHYPEN members stood in stunned silence as Sunoo opened the massive double doors of his family’s mansion. The sprawling estate they had glimpsed on the way in was nothing compared to the grandeur before them. Polished marble floors, a chandelier so massive it looked like a piece of art, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the sprawling grounds beyond greeted them.
“Welcome to my home!” Sunoo said cheerfully, oblivious to his members’ slack-jawed expressions. His parents appeared, warm smiles on their faces, followed by his older brothers, who seemed more amused than surprised at the group’s reaction.
“Sunoo-yah,” his mom said, pulling him into a doting hug, “you didn’t tell us your brothers/members were this handsome!”
The members, now visibly flustered, scrambled to introduce themselves politely. Heeseung led with a bow, his leaderly composure barely holding up.
“We’re… uh… so thankful to be here,” he stammered.
“Relax, boys,” Sunoo’s dad said, laughing heartily. “You’re family while you’re here.”
Sunoo beamed as his parents guided everyone to the living room—a cozy but elegant space. A spread of snacks and refreshments was already waiting.
“Let’s explore later,” Sunoo suggested as they settled in. “For now, we’ll just relax a bit.”
But the mansion itself didn’t let them relax.
The first distraction was the koi pond visible through the living room’s glass doors. “Is that a swimmable koi pond?” Sunghoon asked, already heading outside.
“Yep!” Sunoo chirped. “My brothers swim there all the time.”
The second was the kitchen, where Sunoo’s mom was preparing dinner. The aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering stew wafted through the house.
“This smells like heaven,” Jake muttered, trailing after Sunoo’s mom like a puppy.
“I’ll make extra for you boys,” she said warmly.
After dinner, Sunoo finally gave in to their curiosity. “Fine, fine! Let’s go see the backyard.”
The “backyard” turned out to be a paradise. The members gasped as they stepped out onto the sprawling patio overlooking the estate.
There was an Olympic-sized pool with a slide so long it looked like it belonged in a waterpark, a surfing pool, and even a private lake that glimmered under the evening sky.
“You live here?” Jungwon asked, stunned.
Sunoo’s oldest brother laughed. “You think this is surprising? You should see his game room.”
“You’re joking,” Jay said, but his curiosity was piqued.
“Oh, I’m not,” the brother replied smugly.
Throughout the evening, it became clear just how loved Sunoo was. His parents doted on him endlessly, and his brothers teased him lightly but with unmistakable fondness.
“What’s it like having so much?” Niki asked bluntly, watching Sunoo interact with his family.
Sunoo tilted his head. “Honestly? It’s just home to me. I’m lucky, but my family makes it feel special, not the place.”
The members exchanged glances. They always saw Sunoo as their bright sunshine, but now they realized just how special he really was—and how deeply they admired him for his humility.
As the night settled in, they all gathered in the massive living room for a movie, full of laughter and good food. Day one in Sunoo’s home was overwhelming, yes, but it also felt warm and welcoming—just like Sunoo himself.
