It was a quiet night at the ENHYPEN dorm, and Sunoo had just finished tidying up the kitchen, where he’d spent the last few hours baking pastries for the group. He had a particular fondness for making their favorite treats, and today, he’d prepared chocolate croissants for everyone.
As he walked into the living room, carrying a tray of warm pastries, he noticed Niki and Jungwon sitting on the couch, snuggled together. They immediately looked up at him, their faces lighting up.
"hyungie , you’re the best," Jungwon said with a smile, patting the spot next to him.
Niki grinned, leaning toward Sunoo as he sat beside them. "Yeah, we love when you take care of us like this Hyung."
Sunoo chuckled softly, offering the pastries. "I just like seeing you two happy. You know that." He settled in beside them, gently resting a hand on Niki’s head, who leaned into the touch with a satisfied sigh.
As Sunoo fed them both pieces of the croissants, a few of the other members wandered in, their expressions a mixture of confusion and jealousy. Heeseung, Jay, and Sunghoon paused by the doorway, exchanging glances before turning to the scene unfolding on the couch.
"I can’t believe they’re getting all the attention," Sunghoon muttered, crossing his arms. "What about us?"
"He’s literally babying them," Heeseung added, raising an eyebrow. "We never get that kind of treatment."
Jay nodded in agreement. "I’m getting jealous here baby."
Jungwon and Niki, oblivious to the rising tension, continued to bask in Sunoo’s attention. Niki even rested his head on Sunoo’s shoulder, causing a soft chuckle to escape from the older. "You guys are making me soft," Sunoo teased.
Niki looked up at Sunoo with a smile that could melt anyone’s heart. "We love it when you spoil us. It makes us feel special hyung."
Sunoo’s heart swelled with affection as he absentmindedly ran his fingers through Niki’s hair, his calm and caring demeanor drawing them both closer.
But their contentment didn’t go unnoticed by the others. Heeseung, who had been watching from afar, finally made his move, walking over to the couch with a smirk. "I see how it is," he said, nudging Jungwon playfully. "Guess we’ll just have to steal Sunoo’s attention away from you two."
Jungwon blinked and chuckled, clearly not bothered by the teasing. "Good luck with that."
Niki laughed, wrapping his arm around Sunoo’s waist. "We’ll see who wins, but I’m not letting go."
Sunghoon shook his head, letting out a small sigh. "You two have no idea how spoiled you’re getting."
But it was clear to everyone that Sunoo enjoyed being surrounded by love, and as he looked at the group of boys now gathered around him, he couldn’t help but smile. His heart belonged to all of them, in his own way, but tonight, Niki and Jungwon had earned a special place next to him, much to the chagrin of the others.
"I’ll baby you both for as long as you want," Sunoo whispered to Niki and Jungwon, his voice filled with affection. "But I can’t promise the others won’t get jealous."
Jungwon grinned, his hand slipping into Sunoo’s. "Let them be jealous. We’re the ones with your attention tonight."
Sunoo’s heart was full as he showered Jungwon and Niki with all the affection they craved, leaving the other members to sulk in their playful jealousy.
As the night progressed, the tension in the room shifted from playful jealousy to a lighthearted atmosphere. Heeseung, Sunghoon, and Jay had taken to sulking in the corner, arms crossed and giving exaggerated sighs as they tried to hide their amusement.
