Sunoo’s excitement was palpable as he flipped through his phone, scrolling past makeup tutorials and product reviews. “Hee, are you sure you’re okay with this? I don’t want to bore you,” he asked, glancing at Heeseung, who was lounging comfortably on the couch.

Heeseung smirked, reaching out to flick Sunoo’s cheek gently. “Bore me? Sunoo, I’d follow you to the ends of the earth. Shopping for makeup is nothing.”

Sunoo giggled, cheeks turning a rosy hue. “Alright, but I warned you. It’s going to take hours to get everything I need.”

True to his word, Heeseung trailed after Sunoo like a loyal shadow as they entered the makeup store. The sight of Sunoo’s eyes lighting up at the rows of colorful palettes, lipsticks, and brushes made Heeseung’s heart swell.

“Okay, first, I need a foundation that works for everyone’s skin tone,” Sunoo began, already swatching shades on his wrist. Heeseung held out his hand.

“Test it on me,” he offered, earning a laugh from Sunoo.

“Are you sure?”

“Positive.”

Sunoo swiped the foundation across Heeseung’s wrist, then his cheek, evaluating the color match. “You’d look good even with a mismatched foundation,” Sunoo teased, and Heeseung grinned.

They moved through the store, Sunoo explaining the purpose of each product while Heeseung nodded attentively. When Sunoo struggled to decide between two eyeshadow palettes, Heeseung didn’t hesitate to grab both.

“You don’t have to choose. You’ll need options for the event, right?”

Sunoo hesitated but eventually relented, touched by Heeseung’s thoughtfulness. “You’re spoiling me.”

“Not spoiling—just supporting.”

After hours of shopping and several bags filled with makeup products, brushes, and skincare essentials, Heeseung insisted on carrying everything. “You’ve worked hard planning for this. The least I can do is handle the heavy lifting,” he said, winking.

On the way home, Sunoo leaned his head on Heeseung’s shoulder in the backseat of the taxi. “You’re too good to me.”

Heeseung turned slightly, pressing a kiss to Sunoo’s hair. “I’m just giving you what you deserve.”

The week flew by, and the night before the event, Sunoo set up a small "makeup studio" in their practice room. The floor was littered with mirrors, brushes, palettes, and Sunoo’s new haul, all carefully organized. Heeseung was by his side, handing him items and occasionally stealing cheeky kisses.

“Alright, who’s first?” Sunoo called, clapping his hands with excitement. The rest of the members, lounging on the couches, exchanged glances before Jungwon reluctantly stood.

“I’ll go,” the leader said with a small sigh.

Sunoo beamed. “You won’t regret it, Wonie. Sit down!”

Heeseung, who was busy helping Sunoo organize the products, caught Jay’s gaze and smirked. “You’re whipped too, aren’t you?”

Jay rolled his eyes but didn’t deny it. “You think I’d say no to him? Never.”

Heeseung helped adjust the chair as Sunoo worked his magic, starting with a light foundation to even out Jungwon’s skin. “You have such a cute face. I’ll keep your look fresh and natural,” Sunoo said, meticulously blending.

Jungwon squirmed. “This feels weird…”

“Beauty takes patience,” Sunoo teased, finishing off with a soft peach blush and a nude lip tint. He stepped back, admiring his work. “Perfect! You look like a prince.”
