Caught in the Crossfire

Sunoo sat peacefully on the couch, flipping through a magazine while humming a soft tune. His angelic aura radiated tranquility, oblivious to the brewing chaos among his “members” more like lovers vying for his attention.

The calm didn’t last long.

“Sunoo-yah! I bought your favorite pastries!” Jake’s voice echoed as he entered the living room, a paper bag in hand.

Before Sunoo could respond, Heeseung stepped in from the hallway, holding up a plush blanket. “I thought you might be cold. Here, let me wrap this around you.”

Sunghoon, appearing out of nowhere, leaned casually against the doorway with a smirk. “Don’t listen to them, Sunoo. Let’s go ice skating together. You’ve been wanting to practice, right?”

Jay scoffed, crossing his arms. “Ice skating? Please. Sunoo’s too delicate for that. I was about to make him tea. Doesn’t that sound better?”

Jungwon entered next, holding Shine, Sunoo’s kitten. “Sunoo-hyung, Shine’s been looking for you. I figured you’d want to spend time with her instead of…” He shot a pointed look at the others. “…all this noise.”

Niki burst in dramatically, holding a huge bouquet of Sunoo’s favorite flowers. “Who cares about tea or skating? Sunoo deserves the best, and I’m here to give it to him!”

Sunoo blinked, completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of affection. His gaze darted between the members, unsure of how to respond. “Uh… thank you, everyone?”

Before anyone could argue further, the sound of a throat clearing startled them. They turned to see Seventeen’s Wonwoo standing in the doorway, his arms crossed and an unimpressed expression on his face. Behind him were the rest of Seventeen, who seemed equally amused and appalled.

“I leave Sunoo with you guys for one afternoon, and this is what happens?” Wonwoo said dryly, his eyes narrowing.

The Enhypen members stiffened, looking like children caught sneaking cookies before dinner.

“Hyung,” Sunoo said with a nervous laugh, standing up and taking a step toward Wonwoo. “It’s not as bad as it looks—”

“Not as bad?” Jeonghan interrupted with a laugh, stepping forward. “You’ve got six guys fighting over you in broad daylight, Sunoo-yah.”

Joshua shook his head, smirking. “Poor Sunoo. You must be exhausted.”

The room fell silent as Wonwoo’s intimidating aura grew. “Listen up,” he said sternly, addressing the Enhypen members. “Sunoo doesn’t need to pick between you because, clearly, none of you know how to treat him properly.”

“What—” Jay started to protest, but one glare from Wonwoo shut him up.

“From now on,” Wonwoo continued, “if you want to spend time with Sunoo, you’re going to coordinate. No more random interruptions, no more arguing, and definitely no more overwhelming him. Are we clear?”

The Enhypen members grumbled in unison, bowing their heads slightly. “Yes, hyung.”

Sunoo, meanwhile, hid a small smile behind his hand. It wasn’t often that his older brotherly figure stepped in, but when he did, things always ended up calmer.

As the Seventeen members started teasing Wonwoo about his “dad energy,” Sunoo’s attention was drawn back to Shine, who was now curled up in Jungwon’s arms. He gently took the kitten and cuddled her close, silently grateful for the chaos—and the love—that surrounded him.

After all, being adored by so many wasn’t that bad… especially when it came with pastries, flowers, and tea.

Sunoo’s delicate laughter filled the room as Shine purred softly in his arms. The sight only fueled the intensity of the “Sunoo Fan Club,” also known as Enhypen, who were now glaring daggers at each other, silently blaming one another for being scolded by Wonwoo.
