It was a quiet afternoon at the clinic, with Sunoo and the staff attending to routine checkups and minor treatments. The husbands had been in and out, helping with the occasional task but mostly avoiding any close encounters with animals they weren't entirely comfortable with—like snakes. However, their peaceful day was about to be interrupted by a rather... unusual patient.

The door swung open suddenly, and in walked a caretaker with a bright smile and a cage in hand. "Hello, Sunoo! I need your help," she said, carrying the cage carefully with one hand, the other holding the bird's perch steady.

Sunoo, ever the gracious host, stepped forward. "Of course! What seems to be the problem today?"

As Sunoo approached, the bird in the cage suddenly ruffled its feathers, puffing up its chest as if to make a grand entrance. It was a colorful parrot, with bright green feathers and a sleek, sharp beak. As the bird's eyes locked onto Sunoo, its demeanor shifted from its usual sassy attitude to one of pure awe. The bird tilted its head and stared at Sunoo for a moment before opening its beak.

"Well, hello there, handsome," the bird said in a smooth, flirtatious voice, its eyes glinting with admiration.

Sunoo blinked in surprise but smiled kindly. "Hello there," he said, amused by the bird’s sudden shift in behavior. "What’s your name?"

The bird puffed out its chest proudly. "I’m Diamond, the star of the show. And you—" the bird cocked its head to the side, "—you’re even more gorgeous than I imagined. You have the prettiest feathers, or... hair, whatever it is you have on your head."

The caretaker laughed softly. "Diamond here has a bit of a... personality. He’s a charmer, but he’s very particular about who he likes. He usually ignores people unless they catch his attention."

Sunoo laughed, clearly flattered by the bird’s compliments. "Well, I’m glad to meet you, Diamond. You certainly have a way with words."

Meanwhile, the husbands, who had been sitting in the break room, heard the voice of the sassy parrot echoing through the clinic. Their curiosity piqued, they all wandered into the main area to see what was going on.

As soon as the husbands walked into the room, Diamond immediately turned his attention to them, narrowing his eyes with a look of disdain.

"Oh no," Diamond said, flapping his wings dramatically. "Here come the ugly bunch. What is this, a zoo? Are you all here to mess up my vibe?"

The husbands froze, staring at the parrot with wide eyes. Heeseung raised an eyebrow, already regretting walking into the room. "What did the bird just say?" he whispered to Jay, clearly confused.

"Did he just call us ugly?" Jay whispered back, looking at Diamond in disbelief.

Jake, unable to hide his shock, crossed his arms. "Uh... okay, that’s rude."

Jungwon, ever the peacemaker, tried to ease the situation. "It’s just a bird, guys. Don’t let it get to you."

But the bird wasn’t done. "Oh, trust me, honey," Diamond quipped, looking at each of them in turn. "I see the way you all are staring at my man, and I’ll have you know, he’s mine, got it? Stay away from him or I’ll bite."

Niki, who had been quiet up until that point, couldn’t help but laugh. "This bird’s got more attitude than you, Jay."

Jay glared at Niki. "I’m not sure whether to be impressed or offended."

The bird cackled, clearly enjoying the drama. "Oh, trust me, sweetie, I’m definitely more interesting than you. At least I know how to catch someone’s attention. You guys look like you belong in a petting zoo. You’re all so basic."
