The sun blazed mercilessly over the group's outdoor dance practice session, leaving Enhypen drenched in sweat. The air was thick with humidity, and the members were visibly exhausted but determined to perfect their performance. Sunoo stood out, somehow managing to look as radiant as ever despite the situation.
The scene of pure chaos began when Heeseung, dripping with sweat, tried to lend Jungwon a hand. “Here, let me help,” he offered, reaching out to swipe the sweat off Jungwon’s forehead.
“NO!” Jungwon yelped, backing away like his life depended on it. "I don’t need your sweat on me, hyung!"
“Are you serious?” Heeseung laughed, clearly offended.
Meanwhile, Jake tried to grab a towel from Sunghoon, but Sunghoon had other plans. “Don’t even think about it! If you use this towel, I’ll be stuck with your sweat.”
“It’s just sweat, dude!” Jake argued, pulling at one end of the towel.
Jay stood in the corner, disgusted as drops of sweat from Niki’s hair accidentally splattered his arm. “Oh, come on, Niki! You’re a walking hazard zone.”
“Not my fault!” Niki shot back. “Your arm just happened to be in the way!”
Among the commotion, Sunoo walked by, a serene smile on his face, radiating his usual charm. His sweat glistened under the sunlight, but none of the members seemed to mind.
“Sunoo,” Jungwon called sweetly, holding out his towel. “You look like you need a hand.”
Heeseung, who had been rejected moments ago, was flabbergasted. “Wait, what? You’re okay with his sweat?”
“Of course,” Jungwon replied without hesitation. “It’s Sunoo.”
Sunghoon, who had fiercely guarded his towel from Jake, suddenly appeared beside Sunoo. “Here, let me wipe that for you,” he offered, his tone softer than usual.
Even Jay, who moments ago was ready to wage war against sweat in general, pulled out his personal towel. “You should take this one, Sunoo. It’s fresh.”
Jake rolled his eyes but couldn’t resist chiming in. “Let me hold your water bottle for you, Sunoo. You shouldn’t carry anything heavy right now.”
“Why are you all treating him like royalty?” Niki groaned, though he didn’t object when Sunoo patted his head with a damp hand. Instead, Niki grinned, muttering, “Well, it’s Sunoo. That’s fine.”
Amid the chaos, Sunoo laughed softly, clearly amused by their antics. “You guys are something else,” he said, wiping a bead of sweat off his temple.
“Sunoo, you’re literally glowing,” Heeseung declared, as if that justified all their actions.
“You’re the only exception to this gross situation,” Jay added, as though it were an undeniable fact.
“Yeah, Sunoo’s sweat isn’t just sweat,” Jake concluded.
“It’s liquid gold,” Jungwon chimed in with a dreamy expression.
Sunoo could only shake his head, a fond smile tugging at his lips. “You’re all so dramatic. But I guess I’ll take it as a compliment.”
And as the sun continued to blaze, the group resumed practice, somehow fueled by their shared consensus that Sunoo, even while drenched in sweat, was nothing short of perfect.
The group barely made it through their next round of choreography before the heat became unbearable again. They called for another break, sprawling across the shaded area like they’d just survived a war. Everyone was still drenched, but Sunoo—unsurprisingly—looked like he’d just walked out of a high-fashion photoshoot.
