Enhypen had just started their VLive show. The members were sprawled across the couch, laughing and casually answering fans’ questions. The atmosphere was light and cheerful, with the occasional teasing among the members. Sunoo sat in the middle, exuding his usual charm, while the others took turns reading the fans' comments.
Jungwon, acting as the unofficial MC, read aloud the next question:
“Okay, this one’s for Sunoo. ‘What are you willing to do for the person you love?’”
The members immediately perked up.
“Oooh, interesting!” Jake grinned, leaning forward.
Sunoo blinked, his face lighting up with a radiant smile. “Hmm…” he mused, tilting his head as if seriously considering it. The members were already giggling, expecting one of his cute, innocent responses.
And then, Sunoo dropped the bomb.
“I could give them my entire fortune,” he declared with absolute sincerity, a serene smile still on his face.
The immediate reactions were priceless.
Heeseung, who had been sipping water, choked and started coughing violently. “WHAT did you just say?”
Jay’s jaw dropped. He pointed at Sunoo in disbelief. “You’re kidding, right? You mean, like, everything?”
Jake fell over onto Sunghoon, clutching his stomach as he laughed uncontrollably. “Oh my God, Sunoo, you’re insane!”
Sunghoon looked genuinely alarmed. “Are you serious? You’re not even gonna keep a little bit for yourself? Like, not even enough to buy a snack?”
Meanwhile, Niki stood up dramatically and paced the room. “This is why you’re my favorite hyung. You’re out here setting the bar impossibly high. How are we supposed to compete with that?”
Jungwon, still processing, muttered under his breath, “This has to be the boldest answer I’ve ever heard.”
But Sunoo remained unbothered. “What? If you love someone, isn’t it natural to want to give them everything?”
Jay dramatically fell back on the couch, covering his face. “Sunoo, this isn’t a K-drama. It’s real life!”
Jake wiped fake tears from his eyes. “I can’t believe our Sunoo is this romantic. I’m so jealous of whoever he ends up with.”
Sunghoon stared at him like he’d just said the most ridiculous thing in the world. “Fortune or not, if someone loves you back, they shouldn’t need all your money!”
Heeseung finally recovered and smirked. “Okay, Sunoo, but let’s be real. Do you even have a fortune to give yet?”
The group exploded in laughter, and Sunoo gasped, feigning offense. “Excuse me! I’ll have you know that my fortune will be massive one day!”
“Sure, sure,” Niki teased. “But can you maybe save some for us, too? You know, for snacks or something?”
The VLive chat flooded with laughing emojis and hearts, fans absolutely losing it over Sunoo’s answer and the members’ whipped reactions.
Sunoo crossed his arms, pouting. “I was just being honest. Don’t act like you wouldn’t do something equally crazy for love!”
Jay raised his hand. “Not that crazy. Let’s be clear.”
Heeseung clapped his hands together. “Alright, everyone. New rule: If you want Sunoo’s love, just know you’re inheriting his entire bank account.”
Sunoo rolled his eyes but couldn’t help laughing. “Fine, you guys laugh now, but someday you’ll see. True love is worth everything.”
“True love is worth ramen money, at least,” Niki quipped, earning another round of laughter.
