It was a rare quiet afternoon in the dorm. The group was sprawled in the living room, laughing and teasing one another, enjoying the momentary peace between their busy schedules.

Sunoo was comfortably curled up against Jay's side, his head resting on his shoulder. Jay absentmindedly played with Sunoo's hair while watching the others argue over what movie to watch.

"Jay hyung," Jungwon suddenly piped up, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Can I ask you something?"

Jay raised an eyebrow, already suspicious. "What is it?"

"If you had to choose between Sunoo and corn, who would you pick?"

The room fell silent. Everyone, including Sunoo, turned to Jay with wide eyes and barely contained laughter.

Jay froze. "What kind of question is that?"

Jake leaned forward, smirking. "Come on, Jay. We all know how much you love corn. But Sunoo is your boyfriend. So... who's it gonna be?"

Sunoo pouted dramatically, sitting up and crossing his arms. "Yeah, Jay. Who's more important, me or a piece of corn?"

Jay sighed, running a hand through his hair. "This is ridiculous."

"No, it's not," Heeseung chimed in, trying to hide his grin. "We need to know where your priorities lie, Jay."

Niki clapped his hands together. "I bet he'll pick corn."

Jay rolled his eyes but then noticed Sunoo's playful pout slowly turning into a sulk. He immediately grabbed Sunoo's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Sunoo, obviously," Jay said firmly, looking into Sunoo's eyes.

The room erupted into protests. "Liar!" Jake shouted. "You eat corn like it's your lifeline!"

"I do love corn," Jay admitted, a small smile tugging at his lips. "But Sunoo's my everything. Corn doesn't make me laugh, hold my hand, or give me the best hugs in the world."

Sunoo's pout disappeared, replaced with a shy smile. "Really?"

"Really," Jay confirmed, leaning in to press a soft kiss to Sunoo's temple.

The rest of the members groaned loudly, feigning disgust. "Get a room!" Jungwon joked, throwing a pillow at them.

Jay laughed, pulling Sunoo closer. "Just so you all know, though," he added with a smirk, "I'll still eat corn whenever I want. But Sunoo's my number one."

Sunoo rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the blush creeping up his cheeks. "Good save, corn-lover."

The room filled with laughter again, and Sunoo cuddled back into Jay's side, feeling reassured that no vegetable could ever come between them.

The teasing had settled down, or so Jay thought, as everyone finally agreed on a movie to watch. Sunoo was back in his usual spot, snuggled against Jay, and Jay was silently thanking the universe that the "corn vs. Sunoo" debate had ended.

Or so he thought.

As the movie played, Niki, sitting cross-legged on the floor, suddenly turned around with a devilish smirk. "Hey, Jay hyung," he whispered loud enough for everyone to hear, "but who would you eat at night-Sunoo or corn?"
