The grand HYBE family event was in full swing. Idols from all groups under the label were scattered around the venue, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the rare chance to mingle with everyone. Enhypen entered the room together, as always, their presence immediately drawing attention. But the other idols quickly noticed something peculiar.
Wherever Sunoo went, the other Enhypen members weren’t far behind.
As Sunoo wandered toward the snack table, Ni-ki followed him like a shadow.
“Hyung, try this,” Ni-ki said, handing Sunoo a plate of desserts. “You’ll love it.”
“Ni-ki, give him some space,” Jungwon called from a few feet away. Despite his words, Jungwon was also hovering, watching Sunoo’s every move.
“Oh, is this chocolate cake?” Sunghoon appeared beside Sunoo, grabbing a plate for himself. “Hyung, let’s sit together.”
“Not fair,” Jake interjected, placing an arm around Sunoo’s shoulders. “I was going to ask him to sit with me.”
Other HYBE idols started whispering among themselves, watching the scene unfold.
“Is it just me, or are they all super attached to Sunoo?” one TXT member said, nudging his bandmate.
“It’s not just you,” another replied, amused.
As the event progressed, the Enhypen members’ clinginess became more and more obvious.
When Sunoo tried to greet idols from other groups, Heeseung was suddenly at his side.
“Sunoo, do you need anything? Water? Snacks? I can grab them for you,” Heeseung offered, ignoring the confused stares from nearby idols.
“I’m fine, Bambi ,” Sunoo said with a laugh.
Sunoo approached Le Sserafim to say hello, but before he could get a word in, Jake appeared, standing slightly between them.
“Hi, Jake,” Kazuha greeted with a knowing smile. “Do you need something?”
“No, just making sure Sunoo’s not overwhelmed,” Jake replied, smiling back but clearly not planning to leave.
By the time Sunoo reached the Seventeen table, even they couldn’t ignore the pattern.
“You’ve got bodyguards today,” Mingyu joked, gesturing to the group of Enhypen members trailing after Sunoo.
Sunoo flushed, trying to wave them off. “They’re just being overprotective.”
“Overprotective? That’s an understatement,” Woozi said, shaking his head in amusement.
At one point, Bangtan’s Jungkook approached Sunoo, intrigued by all the attention he was getting.
“So, you’re the famous Sunoo?” Jungkook asked, his tone playful.
Sunoo smiled brightly. “Nice to meet you, Jungkook-sunbaenim.”
Jungkook tilted his head, noticing how Enhypen’s members stiffened at his arrival. “You’ve got quite the fan club,” he teased, glancing at Heeseung and Jungwon.
“Of course,” Ni-ki chimed in, crossing his arms. “Sunoo-hyung is ours.”
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “Is that so? Mind if I borrow him for a second?”
“No,” Enhypen members said in unison, stepping closer to Sunoo as if forming a protective shield.
“Wow,” Jungkook said, laughing. “You guys are intense.”
