I groaned from the rapid knock coming from the door, who could that be? I turned to the other side, sighing, I rubbed my eyes before sitting up.
The first thing I laid my eyes on were the black sofas, I don't have that in my room. I looked around me to see everything different, wait a minute...
I glanced at the door, this was Travis's room. Did I pass out here? I sighed and walked to the door before pulling it open, there stood Evelyn. She had a look of relief when she saw me and I was having a very bad headache.
"What's up?"
"It's almost 10, Mrs Ferrari" she informed and I didn't fret, I didn't care if it was 3 pm. "Yeah"
"I made breakfast and I was wondering if I should run you a-"
"No, I'm good. Tell Abel to get the car ready, we'll be dropping at the hospital " I cut her off. "Alright "
"And Evelyn, I kinda made a mess in the room and..."
"That won't be a problem " she assured before walking out. Gosh, I need to do something about this headache.

I applied the red lipstick thick on my lips and leaned away and sighed, I pulled my hair out of the curler and sighed. Today, I wore a white satin long sleeves shirt, with most buttons popped open and a red mini skirt and a white bag and black heels.
I headed down the stairs while scroll through the texts from Kourtney. She was worried as expected, I turned off and phone and walked to the car as it was opened for me.
I sighed and glanced out the window as we drove, I was grateful for the fresh air. It was Friday, he hasn't been back since we last spoke on Tuesday.
Coming to think about it, he didn't give me a specific reply on when he was gonna be back. I got out my phone and tried calling me but he didn't pick up as expected, was he still in Italy?
We arrived the hospital and I dropped by at Jeffrey's ward, we took a walk to the garden and that's where we stayed. "You don't have to bother coming to see me, Mrs Ferrari" he said.
"I can't possibly not pay you a visit, I have to make sure you're okay" I replied. He was looking better than he did last we spoke.
"Come to think about it , this is like the longest we've spoke. You always seem not to engage with me" I pointed out. "Part of my job description" he replied.
"Travis told you not to talk to me?" I asked and for the first time he pulled a smile, "my duty is to keep you safe-"
"And not to entertain me, I get it" I completed for it, "But what I don't get is why I should be kept safe? " I asked and he looked up at me.
I knew he wouldn't give me a reply, it was also part of his job description. "You don't need to necessary answer that, I know who I should get answers from" I said, before getting up, he stared up at me.
"I can't wait for you to get better" I admitted, he was less colder than this new statue I had, Abel. He nodded and got up too, "thank you for coming over, Mrs Ferrari"
In the ride, I thought about the whole conversation we had. I needed to talk to Travis, "Abel, we'll be heading to the Empire"
It took 30 minutes for us to arrive there and then I got in, I walked past the receptionist to the elevator, I now knew my way around.
After the ride, I walked straight to his office and pushed it open, it was empty. No one was in, I paused and stared around before walking in fully. Where could he be? Was he at a meeting or something?
