The next couple of weeks was my busiest. The preparation for the wedding was in full swing, everything was getting in place and I've still not seen my wedding dress.
The tension between the bridesmaids can never be sorted out, I just had to live with everyone hating each other and Bella being the mediator.
I haven't still had a real talk with my Mother well except for tonight. The Vegas' had invited the Ferraris' for dinner at their place and we were heading there.
It was Sunday, the wedding was this week's Saturday. I know, it's closer than ever.
Have my relationship improved with Travis? I owe it to him for making that impossible, he kept that behavior and I rolled with it. We don't talk except we really had to and by that, I meant when we were out.
I couldn't figure out what was wrong with him and truly I couldn't care less, I just can't wait to get back to LA and begin drowning myself in work.
We prepared for the dinner literally standing few feet apart but no one gave each other a glance. The ride there was the coldest. He was on a phone call while I glanced out the window.
We arrived and once we got out, he took my hand and we headed in. "There they are!" Aunt Regina announced and we pushed out smiles.
This was my life now.
We greeted everyone as a couple, Rosa arrived with Raquel and Lorenzo. "Where's Trent?"
"He had to step out for a while. You know how this men could be about their business" she said and they both chuckled.
"Are you gonna be an alcoholic at this event also?" Kourtney asked, walking to me.
"Yeah" I confirmed, filling back up my glass. "Here" she straight out another glass to me.
I shot her a confused look. "It's an alternative, apple drink" she explained, taking the other and handing it to me.
"Look..." She took a step closer and whispered. "The pressure is much but you won't find peace at the end of this bottle "
I grinned. "I could try "
"Dinner has been served" My Mother announced and I sighed and pushed out a smile. "Talk later, where's Bethany?" I asked
"There!" She pointed at a distance, she was chatting away with one of the Aunties. "Hey guys, sorry I'm late" Hillary hurried in and her Mother began scolding her.
She shot me a smile and I returned it before we all took our seats, it took a while before Travis joined us. "Hope everything is okay?" My mother inquired from him
"Yes, of course. It's just work" he replied and dinner began. "So, this is the last family dinner before the wedding..." Aunt Maria started.
"What are the couple's plan after the wedding?" Aunt Regina asked and we both looked up. "Where's the honeymoon gonna be?" Aunt Giovanni chimed excitedly.
That question excited everyone.
"It will have to be here" Travis said. "Yeah" 'cause how the fuck where we gonna fly back to LA on the same day of the wedding.
"And after that we will be heading back to LA" he added glancing back at me with a smile. "Right after?" His mother asked
Our eyes shot to them, they were disapproving. "Not right after like uh... 2 days or 3" I stuttered, trying to explain.
"What? 2 days!" They exclaimed. "What are you guys gonna do when you get back?" Aunt Sara asked and we exchanged looks again.
"We are still tryna fix our house in the estate" he answered. "Yeah, we have to get the house in order" I added.
