I turned off my phone and headed down the stairs. "Mrs Nelson" I called out and she got up, plastering a smile on her lips. "Mrs Vega"
"How are you doing today?" I asked as I descended from the flight, "very well and you?"
"I'm good " I then glanced behind her, "Where are your... entourage?" I inquired and she chuckled, "they do not like you, I'm really sorry-"
"No, it's okay. Let's go, we are on a schedule" we began heading out to the car parked outside. Jeffrey pulled the door open for us and we hopped in.
"I'm really sorry about how yesterday went" she began. "No, I should be sorry. It was unprofessional of me, but between me and you,I'm glad they couldn't make it"
"Me too" she whispered and I smiled.
"Mrs Nelson, always remember it's your wedding and not theirs" I reminded and she nodded. "We'll be heading to my favorite bridal shop, I'm sure you'll find something that suits you"
"I'll like that"
We arrived at the location and headed in. "Is that..."
"Yes, it's me Stefano!" I called out to him and he turned back, "hey stranger" we both embraced and exchanged pleasantries.
"Stefano, this is the to be bride, Quinn Nelson" I introduced.
"I thought you weren't gonna bring clients my way no more" he said, walking round her. "What? I haven't been getting much weddings"
"Yeah, you've been getting award shows" He mentioned and I chuckled. "What would you like, honey?" He asked. "I really don't -"
"Catalogues" I suggested and he got out the huge book and handed it to her, she sat down and began flipping through the pages. "What do you think would suit her?" I inquired.
"Strapless, bodycon, fishtail" he described and I nodded. "Any other relations joining us?"
"No, it's just me" Quinn replied and he glanced at me. "Do we have a case of..."
"Yeah, interfering family members " I answered, before walking to the racks and scanning the dresses. "So, you got married and didn't come patronize?" He asked and I sighed, I was expecting this.
"First, the wedding was in Italy and it got hijacked and I did send an invite " I reminded. "I couldn't make it, girl. I was swamped, everyone was getting married this summer "
I hummed in agreement, "so how is Mr Ferrari?" He inquired, leaning beside me. "He is fine, Stefano"
He only hummed, shooting me a knowing look. "I like this one" Quinn spoke up and we walked back to her. "Nice choice, honey. Let's get you fitted" she got up and walked into the fitting room.
I sighed and took a seat, a lady brought in champagne, I appreciated by grabbing a glass, taking a gulp, I let out a sigh.
Exactly what I needed right now.
I've had a stressful week and needed to let out in a way. Minutes later, they both got out and I sat up. Quinn was in a strapless dress with and open back.
"That's beautiful" I commented. "I like it" she said, walking to the mirror. "I must confess, you're the easiest bride to please" Stefano commented and we chuckled.
"You wanna try the others?" I asked. "No, I'm good with this. I'm just glad I made a choice on something"
"You can make a choice on all the other things. What do you really want for your wedding?" I asked and she sighed.
"I want it on the 30th of this month. I want it by the beach, I want a band not a dj and the caterers from my favourite restaurant and I definitely want this dress" she let it all out.
