PEARL'S P.O.V
The next morning I and Travis joined the others in the garden for breakfast, we had each other's hand entwined and was about to get into the most lovey dovey act ever.
"Good morning, everyone" I greeted chirpily and they all looked up, surprise in their faces. "You both are finally down" Aunt Regina said.
"Yeah, where are the other guests?" I asked. "They are having breakfast in the hall, I wanted the family together" my mother replied.
"You both are looking so good" Aunt Lucy praised, "do we?" I asked, looking up at him and he smiled and placed a light kiss on my lips.
"Come sit here" my mother urged and we took the space beside her, opposite Bella and Derrick, everyone was shooting us looks. "This is a really quiet environment, I've always wanted something like this" Travis said, looking around.
"This is my family house, I grew up here. It's a nice break from the city" my mother replied. "It's really beautiful out here, Mrs Vega" Derrick agreed and the meal was served.
"Mr Ferrari, do you have an interest out here?" Uncle Barry asked, "I quite do"
"I heard you have lots of estate in the country, you want to get another?" My Mother asked, "yes"
"I didn't know you wanted to get another house" I chirped. "It was supposed to be a surprise" he replied turning to me and I smiled, our meals got placed in front of us.
"Is that peanut butter?" He asked the server, "yes sir "
"Take it away" he ordered. "I thought I made it clear that there should be no nut around the house!" my Mother thundered.
That took me aback, "it's okay, I'm fine" I calmed everyone down and we began breakfast. "When is Davis gonna be joining us?" Natalia asked, "yeah, isn't he gonna be showing up?" Bella asked
"He will and he might have a plus one" I dropped hints, "He is dating someone?" Uncle Barry asked.
"That's a new development" Aunt Lucy chimed. "What about Aunt Martha?" Bella asked and my mother shot her a look.
"Good morning everyone!"
We all turned...speak of the devil and she appears in red. It was Aunt Martha, I watched as my mother let out an exasperated sigh while we welcomed her.
"What about Jake and Justin?" I asked and she lets out a sigh, "that friend of yours really broke his heart" she pointed out.
"Can everyone get back to the table!" My mother demanded and we all sat back down, "how could I miss this wonderful day, Valerie? It's your fabulous 50" she praised and my mother only stared.
We never did understand why she disliked her but we all realized we disliked her too without a reason. I chuckled as my mother replied curtly, "so..." I turned back to my husband beside.
"...I am still getting that house, right?" I asked. "You really wanna live in the suburbs?" He emphasized.
"Who knows? I got it in me" I answered, "yeah but the workaholic side of you won't let you" he mocked and I nudged him.
"Pearl " I looked up at Bella, "do you wanna join us...get somethings ready... inside?" I know she was giving an excuse to just leave this table.
"Sure" I glanced back at Travis and took his hands off my thigh, he smirked before I joined Natalia and Bella, they grabbed both my arms and pulled me only letting me go once we got into the kitchen.
"What's up?" I asked once I was freed, they both had hands crossed over their chest, staring at me. "You guys -"
"What happened?" Natalia asked which got me even more confused, "you and Travis...did someone blow some kinda love potions in your faves and now...wow! What happened?" Bella rambled and I chuckled.
