A sharp pain shot through my head, groaning, I turned to the other side. The sunlight shone on me and I heard voices.

My eyes slowly opened and I was staring at a first aid kit on the side table. "Send for Abel" a distance voice said.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes, it finally got clear enough for me to see Travis, he was dressed in a brown suit, he fixed the cufflinks while he talked to Jeffrey.

I glanced back, my bag were been taken out of the closet by some attendants. "What's going on?" I croaked outand he turned back to me.

"You're awake"

"Yeah..." I rubbed my head. "Get her some Advil " he said to one of the ladies and she nodded before heading out. "What's going on?" I asked again.

"Your bags are being taken to the jet"

"Why?"

"You're flying back to LA" my eyes shot open at his words. "Right now?"

"Yes"

"Travis, it's been barely 2 days since we got here. I'm not even ready " I said. "That's not a problem, you've got time" he replied before turning back to Jeffrey.

I just sat there speechless. The lady came back with the Advil, I took it and laid down the glass before getting up. Jeffrey walked out and Travis turned back, I was behind him.

He stopped and I crossed my hands over my chest. "Are you coming too?"

"No, I still got things to do here. Adrian will fly back with you" he said. My eyes were on the band aid on his head and hand. "What happened?"

I reached out, gently rubbing it. His eyes locked with mine. "It's nothing " he pulled my hands away. "When will you be back?"

"Soon, Harrison will meet you with the schedule, there's some events coming up. I wanna be certain you'll be free for them" he said.

I was surprised by that, since when did he care about my availability, I thought I didn't have much of choice. "Uhh... okay" I replied, anyways.

His phone began ringing, he got it out. "I'll be out" he said and I nodded before he walked out.

I sighed and turned back, taking in the room. What happened last night?

"What do you mean you're leaving?" Rosa asked, getting up. "something came up at the office, I have to get back"

"Oh, come on Pearl, you've been working since you were in LA. This is a vacation!" Hillary encouraged me to stay, pulling my hand and I chuckled,

"Yes but remember that big event we talked about which is coming up" I reminded her.

"Senza sensa!" Rosa hissed, walking to me. "You are going nowhere, you're staying here with us. You're joining me in Rome"

"Rosa, I'll really love to stay but—"

"Then stay!"

"What is going on here?" Raquel walked in, rubbing her eyes. "Pearl is leaving" Hillary answered.

"What? why?" She immediately fired me with questions. "I got work back at LA"

"Perché tu e Travis dovete essere così maniaci del lavoro?" Rosa muttered. "What did she say?"

"She's wondering why you're such a workaholic like Travis" Raquel interpreted and I chuckled.

"Rosa, I promise to be back" I said, walking to her. "What about Travis?"

"He said he will come back...soon"

"You can't be alone in LA" Hillary drawled.

Moments later.

"Was it last night?" Raquel demanded. "Last night was fun. I love last night, I can't even remember how I got back home " I admitted and she chuckled.

"Is Rosa still mad at me?" I asked. "She'll get over it but is there really another reason you're leaving so soon?"

"Of course not. I'll drop by some time, although it's a really long flight " I glanced at the time. "I gotta really go, make your mom hate me less" I requested and she nodded.

I walked to the car and glanced back at the house, for once I didn't even wanna fly back.

I know you're wondering what transpired last night to get Raquel on my good book but I too can't tell.

I got in and the door shut close. I didn't even know why I was leaving so soon. I put on my sunglasses and leaned back on the seat.

Seriously, what really happened last night? I remember storming out of the party, having a drink with Raquel but everything else after that is a blur.

I did get back home and I'm sure Jeffrey was the one who drove me back home. I did remember my argument with Travis and I vividly remember what it was about.

That man. Simon Hastings.

I needed to know who he was.

We arrived the hangar and there was Adrian, he joined me in my flight back home and I honestly didn't wanna spend 12 hours alone.

I arrived home and I was really jetlagged.
