PEARL'S P.O.V
"Pearl, you gotta see this" Kourtney hurried in and placed down the newspaper on my table. I read the headlines...
THE ROSSI'S HEIR, LORENZO ROSSI HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT AND OTHER ENGAGEMENT IN FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES.
"Isn't that Raquel's husband?" She asked, it was indeed, there was a picture of him dragged out of a building by the police.
Why do I smell Travis all over this?"
I laid it down and returned to what I was doing, "Well, it's almost 6, shouldn't you be clocking out?"
"Yes but I gotta finish with this. The Nelson's wedding is 10 days" I reminded.
"Yeah and we have everything under wraps, it will all be ready before the end of this week but you...you need to take care of yourself "
"Alright, give me 10 minutes" i demanded and she smiled and headed out. I sighed and looked back at my laptop, I should really get going.
I was going to break the news to Bella that I was gonna be leaving tomorrow, the least I could do tonight is show up for dinner, she really does hate when we show up late, maybe that's why she was pissed off at Derrick.
I got up, today I wore a black baggy jeans with a beige sleeveless top, my hair in a sleek ponytail.
I grabbed my jacket and bag and headed out. "Hey" Bethany met me in the hallway, "hey" I answered.
"So, I was wondering... could you join me for dress shopping tomorrow?" She asked and I turned, "isn't your wedding in November?"
"Yeah but you know how I could be with this kinda stuff and I'm an itty bitty...picky"
"Itty bitty picky? You couldn't decide the right pair of earrings to wear to your grandma's funeral!" I pointed out. "Yeah and I still made the wrong choice "
"Alright, I'll join you for dress shopping "
"Don't be grumpy, we are paying you"
"Are you though? Aren't you and Eric gonna see this as a freebie for me being your friend?!" I asked and she grinned. "Hope it's by 12 though, I gotta move my things back to the house "
"Just 3 days and your tired?"
"I just miss the comfort of my bed" I replied, "is Travis back?" She asked in excitement.
"Very soon, I gotta go, Bethany " with that I headed to the car, once I got in, my phone began ringing. I answered the unknown number and he drove out, "Are you heading home?" I knew the caller by the voice.
"Calling me with a private number is kinda creepy" I replied and he chuckled. "I'm sorry to creep you out"
"What's up, Aiden?" I asked, glancing out the window. "I'm driving back from work and thought about you"
"Mhmm"
"How are you doing?"
"Pretty solid, it's a great week" I was unbelievably sarcastic. "We should unwind" he suggested. "Too bad, there is literally no event for me, Ironic right? I'm an event planner"
"I'm surprised. But I got an idea, we both could help each other out by going out for dinner...this Saturday "
"That's a subtle way to ask someone out for a date" I replied. "Aren't you married?"
"I am!!!" He chuckled at my response. "Of course, I remember that, why do you think I asked? We are friends...like you suggested "
"And you agreed " I reminded. "Did I though?"
