"Thank you so much for coming to us, miss Barnes" I appreciated. "Of course, Paradise is a house hold name, I couldn't go to any other " she confessed and I laughed.

We both got up and exchanged handshakes. "I'll send my Secretary to give more details" she added and I nodded.

We exchanged more pleasantries before she walked out with her bodyguards. I sighed and fell back on my seat.

The door was immediately pulled open by Bethany. "Is she getting married again?" She Inquired and I rolled my eyes.

"No but we are gonna be planning the Mayor's 70th birthday " I announced. "Oh my gosh! This might be his last" she said and I shot her a look.

"Come on, it's funny" she teased and I pulled out a little smile.

"Could you try to be professional for once?" I asked while chuckling lightly. "But she is looking good, divorce really be doing people good. Look at her"

I nodded in agreement. "Schedule a meeting with everyone in 20 minutes" I instructed. "Yeah but is Kourtney gonna show up today?"

"Yeah, she just have a thing with Ken" I replied. "But I get judged when I'm out with Eric" she murmured

"Back to work, Bethany!" I ordered returning back to the files I had on the table as she walked out.

I knew why Kourtney had to see Ken, he'll be leaving tomorrow.

Today was the only day she could end things with him.

I paused when I saw this morning's paper under the whole pile. I took it and finally got a chance to read through it.
