PEARL'S P.O.V
The room was dimly lit, the air thick with tension. I stood in front of Travis, his gaze intense, locking mine in place. There was no coldness in his eyes now-just a heat that made my pulse quicken and my knees weak.
"I don't hate you," he said, his voice low and rough, as he stepped closer.
"You act like you do," i replied, my voice trembling, my breath hitching as his fingers brushed against my arm, tracing a slow, deliberate line.
"Is that what you think?" His lips curved into a smirk, and in an instant, he closed the distance between us. His hands cupped my face, tilting my head up as his mouth descended onto mine.
The kiss was everything I'd ever imagined-fiery, consuming, and raw. His hands moved to my waist, pulling me against him, and my body melted into his. I clung to him, my fingers threading through his hair, desperate to keep him close, to make the moment last.
The room spun, and suddenly we were on his bed, the sheets tangled beneath us. His touch was everywhere-soft but insistent, his lips trailing down me my, leaving a searing path of heat in their wake.
"Travis," i breathed, my voice a mix of want and confusion.
"Say it again," he whispered against my skin, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
My hands roamed his back, feeling the strength in his muscles as he pressed me deeper into the mattress. My heart pounded in my chest as the world around us blurred, leaving only the two of us in a haze of passion and longing.
It was overwhelming-his touch, his scent, the way he looked at me like i was the only thing that mattered. And in that moment, i let myself believe it.
But just as the dream reached its peak, his expression shifted. His touch faltered, and the warmth in his eyes was replaced by a cold, distant look.
My eyes snapped open, my chest heaving as i tried to catch my breath. I felt hot, my body tingling with the remnants of the dream. I sat up, running a shaky hand through my hair, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment and frustration.
"What the hell," i muttered, my voice barely audible.
The details of the dream played on a loop in my mind-his touch, his kiss, the way he looked at me. It was too vivid, too real, and it left me shaken.
I pulled up the sheets, I was still dressed and from the sheets, no one was here with me. Oh gosh! How sexually frustrated was I that it was getting into my dreams?
I raked my hair and heard a knock on the door, "come in" I called and the door was a Evelyn. She walked in with a tray in hand.
"Good morning, Mrs Ferrari" she greeted as she placed it beside. "Morning Evelyn. Thank you for the coffee" I appreciated, grabbing the mug from the tray.
"You're welcome, should I serve breakfast?" She asked. "Not yet, I'll just nurse this coffee for now"
She smiled, "should I open the curtains?" She asked. "Yes, thank you"
She walked to the window and pressed the button, the binds open, the sunlight flooding in. I glanced outside to the surrounding, "It's a beautiful day, Mrs Ferrari" she commented.
"Yes, it is"
It was Saturday, the Nelson's wedding was today. I had a hectic day at the office planning the Donaldson's wedding for next month.
I raked my hair, "I'll be outside if you need you need anything" she said and I nodded before taking a sip of the coffee.
It really woke me up. I had to get myself together, these dreams had been plaguing me, I can't let it get into my head. Today marks it two months, since the wedding.
