I leaned on the toilet, hands over my stomach and head. There is no better way to begin your wedding day than throwing up in the toilet.
I sat down and rested a little. Did I have a lot to drink? I'm sure there was nothing in my stomach right now. There was a knock on the door and I looked up.
"Almost done" I grumpily dragged myself up and washed my mouth and hands. Why was I woken up so early for a bath? I wasn't feeling good at all, I was just in a robe.
I walked to the door and pulled it open, there stood... someone I didn't know. "The stylists are here" she informed. I sighed and walked into the room and there were 6 of them.
Why do I need 6 stylists?
"There's the lovely bride. She's so pretty" one of them said and they all agreed. I don't feel pretty, I feel like shit.
I was thrown into a chair with a million lights shining down on me. Was it my hungover ass or was it too damn bright in here? The work started.
It was my makeup first before my hair and the others did my nails. My mother dropped by to make sure I hadn't done something stupid.
I asked about the girls and she said they were getting ready. She inquired about my dress, Hillary was bringing it over, that got me a disapproving look from her.
It didn't take 10 minutes and Hillary arrived with it, she hadn't even prepared or anything. She had to immediately go back to get ready, so I stared at the dress from the mirror.
My nails and makeup were done, it was now my hair. I had been quiet through the whole process, I had gotten a bit numb.
I couldn't panic any longer. I was just...used to it now. The hair alone needed another hour and that's when Aunt Lucy popped in. My first smile of the day came in too.
"Aunt Lucy, where have you been?" I asked as she stopped in front of me. "I was beginning to wonder if you had forgotten about the wedding"
She smiled. "I was on a cruise"
"With Edward?"
"You were right about him being single. Wow, look at you" she heaved and I glanced at the mirror. "You're all grown up"
"You too are gonna make me cry?" I asked and she chuckled and held herself back. "It all feels like yesterday when you...got out of highschool"
"And you got married" I pointed out
"You're right, it doesn't feel like yesterday" she stated and I laughed. "How are you feeling?"
"Nauseous"
"Bella said you got wasted last night " she said. "No wonder Mom have been extra judgey all morning "
"Your mother is always extra judgey. Just make the best out of today, it's your wedding and I'm not gonna tell you it's a once in a lifetime experience. You can always get married again" she advised and I laughed.
"I'll leave you to round up, we'll be outside waiting" I nodded. "You're stunning " she winked before heading out. I needed that reassurance
My hair was done and I looked up. It was in a neat bun with few curly strand by my ear and a little silver brooch pinning it all up.
I liked it, it was simple. "Thanks" I said to them and they smiled.
Moments later.
I heard the door open, I turned to see the girls filing in. They paused and began squealing when they saw me. They were all in gold dresses.
Kourtney and Bethany's were silk, they knew how much I loved silk. Kourtney's was a body fitted floor length with slit, Bethany's was a tight fitted, mini dress.
