"So soon?!" Mrs Ferrari asked as expected, our bags were been taken the car. Travis had left to go answer a call, he knew better than to stand around and hear his mother's tantrum.
It was Tuesday, you don't know how long I've been praying for this day to come. Sunday and Monday dragged longer than it was supposed to.
I've never been that bored!
Today I wore a white off the shoulder top with sleeves and a tight body con skirt with a silver purse and heel, my hair pulled back.
"Why do you want to leave so soon?" She asked me. "As we said we still gotta fix up our house"
She shook her head. "Can't that wait?"
"It really can't, I wish we could stay longer but there's a lot to do" I replied.
She shook her head again before going on to say. "Be a good wife"
"Of course "
"Where did you both ran off to on the wedding day?" She asked and a smile ran up my lips. "I understand" she said and I laughed.
"Encourage him to always come visit. I know Travis, when he goes back to LA, he's gonna drown himself in work and give excuses so he doesn't come visit"
I glanced at him by the car. "You're his wife now, you're his adviser and distraction. You keep him in check" I nodded. "The hand over is soon, are you gonna -"
"Yes, I'm going to be there"
"What about Raquel and Lorenzo? I haven't seen them since the wedding" I inquired. "They flew back and I made sure they promise to come to Washington for the hand over" she assured and I nodded.
"My regards to your family"
"Of course " I smiled and glanced at the car, Travis had gotten in. "I guess this is goodbye. Thanks for everything, Rosa"
"You're part of this family now" I nodded. "Bye" I was hesitant for a hug and since she wasn't making a move, I turned on my heels and headed out to the ride.
I got in and let out a sigh. LA here I come.

The flight back was really long but at least I had my laptop with me, I fought with the boredom. The hostess came back with the margarita I ordered. "Thank you" I shot her a smile as I took it.
I took a sip and sighed. "Drinking already?" I turned to the side, he was also on his laptop, eyes fixated.
"Do you want me to survive this flight? How long do we have?" I asked, placing down the glass.
"7 hours"
I shook my head and went back to work. I wasn't the best in long flights but at least this was private.
I slept through most of it and when there was an hour left, I took a shower and changed into something more comfortable. We arrived LA at exactly 8pm and it was pretty cold.
He straight out his hand to me as I headed down the stairs, I shot him a look. "Get over yourself, I'll like a ride back to my apartment" I said, crossing my hands over my chest.
"What apartment?" He asked as the SUVs pulled up in front of us. "My house, I'll like to go home now, thank you very much"
He sighed and took off his blazer jacket, some dude beside took it from him. He grabbed hold of my hand and literally pulled me into the car, the doors shut.
"Didn't you hear what I said? Where are we going?" I asked, glancing back. "Home" I shot him a look as he laid back, eyes closed, he had unbuttoned the buttons of the white long sleeve shirt.
