Sean's POV

She is too tiny, and obviously malnourished due to the signs of an eating disorder. Just what the hell has she been through? I mean we know some but I know there is more that she hasn't told us. I need to know so I can start to plan out how to fix it.

"Hi Hi!" Liam's voice came from their room making her head snap over towards the room.

"Coming!" She called back as she sat the milkshake on a coaster before standing. She clutched the ends of her sleeves as she moved past the men towards her room.

"Doc."

I force myself to turn away from the now empty hall and lock eyes with both Taylor brothers. "I know," I reply while nodding, "but before you say anything we are treading on thin ice as it is. I have some ideas but I can't draw a conclusion yet. I need more time, WE need more time."

"But you have assumptions," Luke frowned at my nod. "Bad or really bad?"

"I'm not answering that, Luke," I shake my head. "I don't have enough information to give you an answer to any of the questions that you have."

"Hey Heidi," Corey said suddenly. I looked away from Luke to see her emerging from her room. I heard Luke mutter my name, causing me to throw him a silencing glare. "Do you need any help packing?"

"No thank you," she said softly as Liam came up beside her. I watched as his small hand slipped into hers, her shoulders dropped in relaxation at the movement. "Our stuff is on the bed, ready whenever you are done packing."

"We don't need to pack," Gabe shook his head. "We have stuff there and here so we don't need to bring stuff back and forth besides our school stuff. We're ready whenever you are."

"May I enter your room to get your bags please?" Victor asked. Her eyes widened in shock at the gesture. I can feel multiple pairs of eyes on her as she opens her mouth to respond then close it before trying again. She closed her mouth once more before nodding. "Thank you," Victor smiled gently before walking past the pair with Marc following behind him.

I keep my eyes on her as she bites her bottom lip nervously. "We have wots fun, Hi Hi," Liam smiles excitedly. A soft smile crosses her face as she nods down at her little brother.

"I'm sure we will," she replies. I catch Owen's quick frown before he masks it out of the corner of my eye. Does he not believe her? What did he see that I missed? I throw a quick glance around the room and notice that Silas and Axel are watching her closer too, did they see something too? I'm thinking we need to have a family meeting after the siblings go to bed tonight and based on some of the others' reactions they are having the same thoughts.

"That's all you packed?" Gabe asked as he took in the two duffel bags in both Victor and Marc's hands. "You do know that we are staying the whole break at our place, right?"

"Da," Raven nodded, "Russian Christmas January 7." He crossed his arms over his chest. "We party two party."

Corey rolled his eyes as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Celebrate, Rave, celebrate." He let out a heavy sigh as he shook his head. "We celebrate both December 25 and again on January 7th. We keep the tree up until the 9th or 10th depending on when Raven and Gabe are ready to take it down."

Raven shrugged, "Same. We party."

"I mean he's not wrong," Luke chuckled. "We do party but yeah it will be more fun this time." He winked at Heidi who just looked at him confused for a minute before she shook her head and knelt down to Liam's level.

"Did you grab your stuffy?" She asked. "I need to grab a couple of your cups and dishes."

"Already have them," North said holding up a bag to show her. Her mouth dropped open in surprise. "We can always come back if you forgot anything. It's not a problem."

"I got me dinos," Liam nodded.

"My," Heidi and Kota said at the same time. She threw him a confused look before dropping her gaze to her shoes.

"It's your possession, Lee Lee," she tapped his chest. "So you say I have my dinos."

"Otay," he beamed. "I hab my dinos."

A real smile formed, "Good job."

"We ready?" Brandon asked. "You got your school stuff too?"

She nodded as she rose and tightened her grasp on Liam slightly. "Can I drive your car so you can enjoy the ride?" North asked her as he came up behind her. He froze for a second, "Please?"

I thought Gabe's eyes would pop out of his head before he quickly recovered, no thanks to Luke elbowing him stealthily.

"Yay, Hi Hi sit back wif me!" Liam started to hop in place.

"Guess that answers it," she muttered as she held out her keys.

"Thank you," North smirked as he opened the back door for her. She gave him a quick look before focusing on buckling Liam into his carseat. Once she was sitting next to her brother, North shut the door and gave the rest of us a determined look. I recognized that look all too well, it was a look that I knew the rest of us had on our faces too. A look of determination and promise.
