North's eyes narrowed when they made the last turn close to their home. He had a sinking suspicion that something was off about Heidi. She was being way too forthcoming of her past holiday experiences, if you can even call it that seeing as she wasn't allowed to celebrate. But then she kept fidgeting either with Gabe's hoodie, Liam's hair or even the seat buckle. Not once could she remain still nor could she stay in conversation as her mind seemed to wander off.

Taking a glance at Raven, confirmed that he was suspicious of her behavior as well. Ten minutes later they were pulling up to a large black gate surrounded with tall hedges on both sides. No one could see the property besides the little hints through the gates. North rolled down the window to punch in the code before pulling through the opening gates.

Liam and Heidi were both astonished by the long road leading to what looked to be a mansion. The long road had trees and bushes lining the road with occasional light posts to guide their way.

"So pretty," she murmured as she took in the scenery.

"Castle Hi Hi," Liam whispered.

"Yep," she nodded.

"Hi Hi," Liam whispered again.

"Yeah?" She asked as she smiled down at him fondly.

"We wive in castle one day?"

She let out a soft sign and bit her bottom lip as she thought. "Maybe one day," she said softly as she looked out the window with a dazed look. "We can try but that would be an awful lot for us to clean if you think about it. For now let's just be happy with what we have and enjoy visiting here, okay?"

"Otay," Liam nodded.

"Welcome home," Luke beamed as he opened the back door and began unbuckling Liam. "What do you think, Lil Man?"

"You have bunch clean," Liam blurted out. "Big castle."

Luke burst out laughing. "Yeah but there are a bunch of us so it isn't so bad," he said once he was able to calm down. "We have a chore chart to help also. Good thing about there being so many of us, it gets done fast. Go explore and pick a room for you and your sis. We have plenty of guest rooms for you to pick from."

"Tum on Hi Hi," Liam took her hand, "lets go wook."

"We'll be right there," Gabe nodded when he noticed she was looking at him nervously. "We're just going to get your things. We have nothing to hide from you and Doc's med stuff is locked up tight with only fingerprint access. Go look."

She nodded and let Liam start dragging her away to explore. The moment North was sure they were out of earshot he turned his glare to Doc. "Something is going on."

"What do you mean?" he asked curiously.

"She has never been that open to us," Corey shrugged. "She kept humming too."

"Tell me more," Doc said curiously. "How was she acting?"

"Fine," Corey admitted. "More open, more relaxed kind of but she was fidgeting too. Like, she would be relaxed but then she would kind of like notice she was relaxed around us and start to get nervous but then she would relax again. She kept going back and forth. I just figured she was fighting being calm with us."

"It's not just that," North shook his head. "There's something off."

"Do you think..." Kota started to ask but Axel shook his head before looking towards the stairs.

"I'll keep an eye," Sean whispered.

"You're wrong," Gabe glared at North.

"I'm lost," Brandon whispered to Marc.

"Argument with Lisa the other day," Marc whispered back. "Think about what Lisa said that caused them to fight." Seeing movement on the stairs he cleared his throat. "Hey Beautiful," he smiled as Heidi and Liam held onto the railing of the stairs as they started descending towards them. "What do you think of our home?"

"It's beautiful," she blushed. "Big."

"Yeah," Gabe nodded. "But there are a lot of us. Don't worry, you won't get lost. It's your home now too." Her eyes widened in panic. "Calm down, I just meant while you are staying here, think of it as your home too."

"Fucking idiot," North mumbled under his breath.

"You habe pool!" Liam said excitedly.

"Yep," Nathan grinned. "And we can start you on those swimming lessons while you are here if you want. The pool is heated so it won't be cold."

"Yay!" Liam bounced. "Hi Hi no swim but I hab shorts."

"That's okay, we can figure something out," Nathan nodded. "But only if Hi Hi says it's okay. We have to listen to her rules, she's still the boss."

"Aye aye cap'ain!" Liam saluted before bursting into a fit of giggles.

"Well what should we do first?" Luke asked as he slid in next to Liam bouncing on his feet. Heidi was swaying back and forth side to side.

"Considering we just got home," Silas grunted, "maybe we should unpack and relax for a bit before we make any plans."

"Were you able to pick a room?" Axel asked softly.

"Um...no," she whispered while shaking her head. "Liam was too busy looking at all the rooms he could."

"That's fine," Gabe smiled, "we can show you all the rooms slowly. You can pick any room you want. What rooms did you see?"

"Um, living room," She looked around slowly. Sean noticed her eyes were a little dilated as she thought for a bit, "Kitchen," she pointed upstairs, "art room, Belle's room."

"Belle?" Brandon asked.

"Library," Kota and Gabe said at the same time, causing Heidi to giggle.

"Beauty and the Beast," Corey explained.

"Oh yeah," Brandon chuckled. "I get it now."
