"Joon's Dia"

(Chapter 79: He Is A Kim!)

I was nervous but I was praying silently asking God to send his spirit of peace, love and understanding to us. We needed his guidance right now and I felt a bit of ease when I dropped the children by Melanie, Suzy's mother who was their babysitter for important times. Now was an important time.

I thanked her, "Thanks Mel. I'll call when I'm ready."

She nodded and told me, "Don't worry. Do what you have to. They're safe here."

.

Mel was a lifesaver. CJ was still sleeping and Anni hugged me and told me that everything was going to be okay. I walked back towards the car only to see Namjoon watching me and smiling. I smirked because I knew that he loved seeing me sway my body but right now we needed to be serious. This meeting would be serious and life changing. I came into the car and Namjoon told me that he called K and told her where to meet us. Just before I drove off, he held my chin and told me,

"Everything's going to be okay." Wow! Both Joon and Anni had the same sentiments. I nodded and started praying silently. Then we were off. Joon started to talk with me but I was mainly silent and just giving him one word answers. I think he realised what I was doing and asked, "Can you pray aloud so we can pray together?"

.

I nodded and began to talk with God out aloud. I prayed and asked Him to be with us and to help us. Namjoon closed his eyes while he held my hand. I heard him repeating some of my words and I felt his sincerity. This felt so warm, wonderful and just simply homely. Namjoon was my home. I looked at him and realised he wasn't stressed but calm as he was praying with me.

I stopped the car to the side of the road and took him by surprise when I pulled him closer to me and kissed him. It wasn't a passionate kiss like what we shared yesterday but more of a comforting and reassuring connection to show our harmony: our solidarity in this situation.

He held my face and reciprocated my lip action. When I released his lips I heard him moan, "Oh Blue. I missed you so much. I want to kiss you forever."

I smiled at his confirmation, "I want that and more..."

.

Namjoon grinned, "That most definitely will be arranged," and he took back my lips again for another gentle kiss.

Finally I released him and said, "We need to discuss our plans and what we're going to tell them." Namjoon nodded so for the rest of our journey we talked to make sure we were on the same page for this meeting. Namjoon explained a little more about his parents as I didn't really know them and our first plan was to:

"First of all, I want to let you know that I forgive you both for what you did during our last encounter in South Korea. I know you all want what's best for Namjoon and you were only doing that to make sure his future was secure. But I want you to know that I am in love with your son and I will honour him, love him and trust him for the rest of our lives together."

Namjoon's parents were sitting down on my sofa watching me. We had already done the formalities of greeting each other and Namjoon had taken the wheel for the meeting. Our first plan was to make them feel at ease and know that I had moved on from what they did previously with the Elders. Mrs. Kim looked embarrassed while Mr. Kim was emotionless. Hmm...
