--- Hangman's Point of View ---
I felt myself start to get dizzy as I had to sit down before I fell, I found myself moving back somewhat stumbling as I sat back down on the workout bench.
Rooster let out a sigh as he moved away from me and I watched somewhat dazed as he walked over to the water cooler and got me a cup of water, he came over and handed it to me, I looked up at him saying a soft 'thank you' before taking it and drinking it down.
After doing that I let out a gasp breathing hard as I felt the dizziness start to wane and the room became into focus more.
I took a few deep breaths as I got myself under control, being a fighter pilot I normally had control over my body, so passing out was very rare for me, but Rooster just gave me the information
Mentally I started to process what he had said, I was going to be having a son, we...Stella and I were going to have a son.
I looked up at him, his brown eyes were scanning me over, I wasn't sure what he was thinking, his eyes and expression gave nothing away.
"Thank you for telling me." I said when I felt like my voice was stronger and it sounded good, he tilted his head slightly, again looking me over.
"Don't thank me, I'm torn, as a father I feel like you should be informed and so does she." I watched his expression hardened and there was a certain malice that started to show, he took a few deep breaths before continuing.
"On the other hand, as a husband." I felt my whole-body tense as he said the word 'husband' with such force that I had to stop the anger building in my chest that I had to temper down.
"As a husband...I want to keep you from her."
I stood up and looked up at him.
"I understand that, but she IS carrying my child, we are connected now, forever."
I saw anger flash in his eyes, there was tension between the two of us was noticeable.
"I should go." He turned and left, I said nothing more, I wasn't sure that if was anything that I could say at this moment, he had told me what I needed to know.
--- Stella's Point of View ---
{Two Weeks Later}
I walked outside at night to but the garbage in the bin, I looked down the street and I felt my body freeze, standing in the middle of the street was Hangman.
I couldn't see his face, I didn't need to, I knew him even in darkness and shadows, I simply looked at him, not sure what to say to him.
"If I come closer, will you cry for you husband." He asked making me jump, I was a little bit alarmed at how much venom he had in his voice when he said the word 'husband.'
I swallowed the dry lump in my throat, I wasn't scared of him, I never was and I wasn't scared of him now.
"No." I whimpered, slowly he sauntered over to where I was, I moved a little meeting him in the middle of the street under the lamppost.
The moment I got a good look at him I felt myself take a sharp intake of breath, he was as handsome as ever, he seemed to be stronger...I mean, he seemed to be more in shape than he was the last time I saw him.
He looked down at my little growing bump, I looked up at him and his green eyes were somber.
"Is, is he mine...really mine, really ours?"
Slowly I nodded.
