--- Hangman's Point of View ---

Watching her leave was painful, it took every part of my soul not to run after her and make her face me, and after kissing her picking her up and taking her back to my small home.

Seeing her walk away was tearing out my heart.

I was also battling something that I had never felt before, a feeling of parental urge to take care of my unborn child.

I ran a frustrated hand across my face and rubbed the back of my neck to release some of the tensions that was there and seemed unable to ease.

{The Next Morning}

--- Stella's Point of View ---

I sat at the kitchen table, with Auroa in her highchair, I looked at her and I found that she was starting to outgrow it, it might be good to get her a booster chair soon, I wondered what kind I should get.

"Babe..." I looked up at Rooster a little bit surprised, I was so lost in thought. He was giving me a soft bemused smile, I knew that I was distracted.

Honestly seeing Hangman had made things a bit off for me.

I thought that I had left him in the past, I thought marrying Rooster, a beautiful and caring and loving man, who treated me like a queen, and who seemed to love this child I was carrying even though it wasn't his, I thought being Roosters would make me forget Hangman.

But that was something that wasn't possible, and I was drowning in guilt with it, while I was in bed with Rooster, even when he pulled me against him and I wrapped my arms around his waist and put my head on his chest, I was betraying him.

Not with my actions, I had taken vows, and I took them seriously, but I was betraying him with my mind and emotions.

I found myself wanting to be with Hangman again, I wanted to be under him, I found that seeing him again, being near him, smelling him I wanted him again.

He was like some kind of drug and I was powerless to stop its allure.

"I think she is outgrowing the highchair." I added, more so to distract my own mind than really shift his focus from me and asking any obvious questions like what am I thinking about – Rooster knew me to well now, he can catch me when I am lying.

"Really." He walked over and looked down at Aurora who looked up at him and gave him a smile as she kept on eating her hashbrowns.

"I think you are right."

I looked away, I knew that I wanted to see Hangman today, I just wondered how I was going to do that without Rooster knowing.
