--- Stella's Point of View ---

I was not worried when Rooster didn't come home right away, I put a very tired Auroa into bed, she had so much energy and she was started to keep no playing until she was exhausted and passed out.

She was like Rooster in that regard, always happy and fights sleep.

I looked up when I heard Rooster quietly come into the house, smiling, I walked into the front room to greet him.

I smelled something good.

"That smells nice, did you bring something" I smiled, I saw a shift in his movements and his eyes were not meeting mine as he sat down the bag on the table and cleared his throat.

"You are smelling the taco salad, for you."

"Thank you, I'm hungry." I didn't know why but that sounded good, I put my hand on my bump as I felt the baby flutter sightly, I was more hungry with this baby then I was with Aurora, a distant part of me knew that was simply the difference between Jake and Bradley, I saw Hangman eat so much, it isn't surprising that his offspring would be the same.

I could tell that something was up, I could always tell with him, but my hunger was getting to me, I sat down and pulled out the food and looked up at him, he looked at me and said nothing, I took a bite of the food, it hit the spot that I didn't even know needed to be hit.

"What's going on?"

He let out a sigh and I watched as he rotated his neck side to side, something he did when he was really stressed, I tried to tame my worry about him being this stressed, he sat down across from me, I looked up at saw the utter shame in his expression.

I don't know how I knew what was going to come out of his mouth, maybe it was because we have become so close, and I just knew him.

I felt my eyes narrow.

"You told him about the baby." It wasn't a question, the look on his face told me that I was right, I took another bite, angry but still hungry – I was pissed off but I didn't want o

"I'm sorry, I wanted him to know from me."

"What did he say?" What I really wanted to know was how he acted but I didn't want to ask that outright.

"I think he was in shock, he wants to see you, I told him only if you agreed and I was there."

The anger that I felt at him seemed to be reasonable, I looked up and narrowed my eyes even more at him.

"Do you not trust him alone with me?"

His eyes widened at that, I watched as he cleary was filtering though options in his brain as to how to answer that.

"I..."

I held up my hand.

"I don't want to see him at the moment."

He got out of his chair and moved to kneel Infront of me, putting his hand on my thigh.

"I'm sorry, I know that I overstepped here, but you are my wife and it's my job to look after you."

I set down on my fork and looked at him, I loved his brown eyes, they were so deep and held such emotions that he often tried to repress. I leaned down and kissed him.

"It's okay." I let myself think it over for a moment.

"I'm actually glad you told him, he was going to find out one way or another, I'm just worried about what action he is going to take."

Rooster stood up with a sexy groan as he straightened up and leaned against the table looking down at me, I kept on eating.

"What do you mean?"

"He could try and get custody or take her from me."

I felt the shift in Roosters body, and it set me on edge, I looked up at him and felt the food almost stick in my throat at the fierceness of his expression.

"Over my dead body Amethyst, you are safe with me, I'm going to protect us, all..." His eyes looked down at my stomach and I saw his expression soften noticeably "Four of us."

Still, something told me that Hangman wasn't about to let this go, he was a possessive man, and I had a feeling he wouldn't be any different with our child.
