Kongpob sighed as he looked down at his ice coffee. He was sitting in a small café not too far from where he just interviewed at. He just got out of his fourth interview of the week, and it didn't look good. He had no idea what he was doing wrong. He answer all their question with clear precise answer. He looked out the window thinking.

He was a twenty-three-year-old male, how just finished his bachelor's degree in business administration. He was the youngest of three, an opps baby if you will. He was doted on by his older siblings and his father. His mother on the other hand didn't want a third child and ignored him, not caring about anything having to do with him.

His father and older brother where worse than his sister. While all three of them were overprotective of him, his brother and father were the worse. He wasn't allowed to do anything or go anywhere his brother and father didn't allow. He always had guards following him, and even his phone was monitored. Kongpob didn't mind. He knew his brother and father were doing it out of love. The matter only got worse when he got into high school.

Because of the way his brother and father were, Kongpob was a very innocent child, not knowing how curl the world actually was. He knew his mother hated him, but he tried everything growing up to have her at least like him. He knew from a very young age that his mother hated him. She told him herself. She never physical attacked him, only attacked him using her words and when his father wasn't around.

His innocence didn't change even in high school and college. He always saw the best in people, always seeing the Brightside of things. He never turned anyone away that needed help in their studies. His best friend Aim always told him that people were taken advantage of him, but he never believed it. Maybe because he didn't want to. He wanted to see the bright side of things.

Now however he was starting to see the dark side of things. He couldn't understand why nobody would hire him. He was a module student, never missing a class. Always number one in his batch. He was valedictorian. The company he did his internship at gave him high praise. His teachers all told him he was outstanding, and a hard worker.

"Maybe they see something in me, I'm not seeing." Kongpob mumbled to himself. A loud clap of thunder made him jump. He had been so lost in thought that he didn't notice it had started raining. "good think I brought my brothers car." He said. He watched as people outside ran for cover from the rain. He didn't understand why the people of Bangkok wasn't prepared for this. It was the rainy season after all. Thunderstorms and heavy rain were bound to happen almost every day. They should always carry around something to keep them protected.

Sighing deeply, he got up from his table, ready to leave. He needed to get home before his father and brother start worrying about where he was. They knew he had an interview again today, and Kongpob promised to come right home afterwards. He knew that with the rain they would be even more worried if he didn't come home on time.

Kongpob open his umbrella as he stepped out of the café. He left his car parked at the company he interviewed with. He was not been ready to go home and wanted to walk around for a bit. That is how he found the café. Kongpob bit his bottom lip as he thought more about his interviews. He played around with the idea that maybe his dad had something to do with him not being able to find a job. His father was a business tycoon and could blacklist anyone form being hired anywhere. He had saw it happen once. Kongpob might be innocent, but he wasn't so innocent he didn't know how ruthless his father could be.

As Kongpob got back to the parking garage where his car was, he heard a loud screech, a thumb, then a screech again. Confused Kongpob followed the nose. As he turned the corner he was almost hit by a car speeding by. He quickly jumped out of the way falling on his ass. He was able to get a look at the car license plate before it sped out of sight. "People are crazy." He mumbled standing back up. He looked the way the car came and saw someone laying on the ground. Without second thought or hesitation Kongpob ran up to the person. "Khun? Khun?" Kongpob looked at the man who was covered in blood his eyes closed. He didn't want to touch the man, in case there was evidence on him. Instead Kongpob pulled out his phone and dialed 191.
