Arthit growled as he stood in the door way of his office building, trying not to explode.. It was raining, not just a light rain, but a very heavy down pour. He didn't have enough money for a cab or a grab, and there wasn't an MRT near his work or his condo for him to take.

"Fucking great." He mumbled as he put his laptop bag over his head and ran for it. Lucky there was cover bus station close by, maybe he wouldn't get to wet. He could already feel the cold creeping up, decided how hot and humid Bangkok was.

He wanted to call in today. He should have called in today. He should have said fuck it all and stayed home. Yet he couldn't. He just couldn't. He just couldn't. He wasn't one to skip work. Plus he had a report to finish and a presentation to give. Those things couldn't be pushed off.

Getting to the bus station, he quickly shook the rain drops off him, scanning himself up and down, trying to assess the damage. Luckly he wasn't too bad, it was only a two-minute run form to the door to the cover bus station anyways. His back, arms, and the bottom of his pants where the only things wet.

He could feel himself already start to chance and he just wanted to be home when that happen.

Arthit was a shifter like most people in the world. He was a wolf shifter, with one black ear, and one white ear. His fur was a perfect blend of black and white. His tail was all black with just the tip being white.

Shifters were very common around the world. Wolves, bears, felines, all dog breeds, bunnies, foxes. Those were the most common of them all. Most shifters kept to themselves, becoming friends with other shifters, dating other shifters, and hiding who they were.

There was a lot of hate towards shifters, a lot of crime against them with assaults being the most common one. Though he knew how to fight, and would shift to run away if necessary, he didn't want to run that risk.

Arthit sighed sitting down putting his laptop bag on his lap, leaning his head against the back against the bus cover closing his eyes sighing deeply. "Maybe I will make it home before I shift." He mumbled to himself. Once home he would be okay. It was Friday and there was no pending work for him to do tomorrow. Unlike most shifters, he only shifted once every three months or under very stressful circumstances. Not that he couldn't shift any other time, or on command. He just didn't like too. Only when one very special person was upset with him, or extremely sick did he shift outside his normal time.

Arthit sighed again this time happier thinking about his special person. His lover. Kongpob. They had been together for seven wonderful years. Two of which they were separated only by miles. His moon wanted to study aboard and though it was extremely tough, they made it, with each of them flying out to see the other, three times per year.

Right now his lover was away on business and had been for two weeks. Having Kongpob here would have made his weekend prefect.

Thinking about his boyfriend put a smile on his face. Kongpob had wormed his way into his life and into his heart when Arthit was a third year and Kongpob was just a freshman. He had fought it so hard against the feelings that Kongpob stirred in him, hurting his Kongpob in the process with his actions. Now seven years later, he couldn't see his life without the younger man. Kongpob was his everything. The man held not only his heart, but his whole world.

A soft vibration against his leg brought him out of his thoughts. Without opening his eyes, he reached into his pocket pulling his phone out. "Hello?" his tone laced with annoyance and exhaustion.

"P'Arthit, Are you okay?"

A soft smile laced Arthit face at the sound of his boyfriend smooth, soft, gentle voice. "I'm just tried Kongpob." He mumbled. The man always seem to know when to call. Hearing Kongpob voice eased some of the stress he was feeling.
