Kongpob laid face down on his bed biting his pillow. He was trying his hardest to not make a sound. His back was on fire, blood dripping down his sides soaking into his sheet. The blood had slowed down, now just slight trickle.
It has been less than six hours since he was released from the hospital. Six hours of hell. Six hours of wondering if he was going to make it to the sunrise. Six hours of wondering not for the first time in his life why he wasn't loved. Why he was worthless. Why did his mother have to save him and get killed? Why his mate was there yesterday, but not this morning.
Nobody wanted him, not even his mate. He didn't even know his mates name. The man stayed the night with him once, then left the following morning. At least Kongpob thinks he left the following morning. He wasn't sure. All the omega knew was that his alpha was gone when he woke up.
That night was the first night in years he slept peacefully, without fear or worry. His omega was at peace. Waking up his omega was still at peace even if his alpha wasn't in the room. The room had been filled with the sweet scent of vanilla and lavender.
His peace did not last. His parents showed up an hour after he woke up. He was in the mist of eating the breakfast they provided when his hospital door was opened. His whole-body tensing. Anyone looking at them would see worried parents, but Kongpob knew better. The fire and rage in Kerkkrai eyes, the hate in Piyapon's told Kongpob everything he needed to know.
They played the concern parents, talking with the nursing staff and physician, who were more than happy to tell them everything, not knowing the danger they were putting him in.
Kerkkrai and Piyapon played the prefect role right up till they got into their car. They helped Kongpob into the backseat, Piyapon sitting in the back with him to "monitor" him. The nurse gushed on how worried his parents were about him.
The moment they pulled out of the hospital parking lot was when the first slap landed. Kongpob was expecting it, but not that soon. They had never hit him in the car before. Never out in public. It was always behind closed doors.
The first slap was to his face, to his nose and mouth. The ring on Piyapon left hand cutting his lip, stunning the omega. He looked at her wide eye letting the blood tickle from his lip. That is when he noticed the tint on the windows. They were dark, making it near impossible for anyone to see inside.
The ride home had taken an hour, and for almost every moment of that hour, Piyapon beat him. At one more she reached into the front seat, grabbing a bag. From inside the bag she pulled out a small wooden board. Kongpob tried to get away, tried to open the door, but it was locked. He wasn't able to unlock it.
Piyapon used that board, beating him in the arm, legs, back, stomach, anywhere she could possibly get. Kongpob turned his body facing the door, letting the slaps fall on his back.
The moment they got him, he was dragged inside, dragged to his room, thrown on his bed. Run followed, sneering at him. He was too weak to try and defend himself. To curl into a ball like normal. The beating from the day before, the surgery, took out all his strength. He couldn't do anything but lay there and take the beating.
Run used a whip on him, Piyapon used a thick wire, their favorite tools. For six hour, they would come and go. Beat him, then leave, before coming back and beat him again.
When they finally left, finally said they were done teaching him a lesson, Kongpob bit his pillow, silent tears streaming down his cheek.
He thought for a brief moment as his parents and the nurse was wheeling him out of his room, that his mate would show up and rescue him. Just for a brief moment.
