Punishment Pt. 2

Tam bit his lips as he watched Phi smile and laugh at something Nhudee said, before quickly turned away rushing off. This was all his fault. He knew it was his fault; he deserve this. If he hadn't been so damn blind with jealously and wanting petty revenge, this wouldn't be happening. He wouldn't be avoiding Phi and putting a wall up between them. He couldn't help it though. He didn't trust himself around Phi anymore. He didn't trust that he wouldn't hurt him again.

Seeing Phi hurt was the last thing he ever wanted to see, it hurt him to see his boyfriend in pain. To know he was the cause of it, not only hurt his heart, but mentally too. He never thought he would be the type of person to hurt their loved one. But he did. He caused Phi pain. So much pain that Phi didn't want his help. Didn't want his touch.

Even though Phi explained that it was just the pain talking, Tam took it to heart. He couldn't' help it. Seeing the pain look on Phi face after he came down from his high, was burned into his brain.

"Hey, Tam, where are you rushing off too?" Yong asked looking at the younger man up and down. The whole office could not only see but feel the tension between Phi and Tam. Neither of them opened up about what the problem was, and though Nudee and GeGe tried to pry it out of them, neither spoke up. It wasn't effecting their work; however, it was effecting the office. Everyone was used to seeing them being lovey dovey with each other. Always touching, whispering, laughing with each other. Stealing kisses when they thought nobody was looking. To see them not act that way made everyone worried.

"Oh...bathroom." Tam mumbled giving Yong a wai before rushing off.

"But the bathrooms are that way." he mumbled sighing deeply.

"Was he running away again?" GeGe asked making Yong jump.

He glared at her before nodded. "Yes. Again."

"Someone needs to sit them down and have them talk it out. Whatever this is, is effecting everyone here."

"You do it." Yong said tapping her on the shoulder before walking away.

GeGe sighed shaking her head. She wasn't stupid enough to get in between the two of them, but she was the only one brave enough to bring the matter up.

Following the way Tam went, she noticed he was heading to the roof. She noticed that anytime Phi or Tam needed or wanted to be alone that was the one place they would go. Rather it was together or alone. There wasn't much up there, just two benches and nothing more. She wasn't sure what was so special about the roof. Maybe it was something special for them.

Opening the door, she say Tam looking at the billboard with Phi picture. He was just standing there, hands at his sides. She could see his shoulder slump, as if defeated.

"So, want to tell me whats the matter?" She asked walking over to Tam. She stood next to him also looking at the billboard.

"Nothing's wrong. Why do you ask?"

Gege turned to look at him eyebrow raised. "Really nothing is wrong?"

"Yes, nothing is wrong." Tam answer her back

"Bullshit. If nothing is wrong, then you would not turn and run away from Phi every time he got near. You would not look scared and back away when he reaches for you. You would not be up here on this roof, staring at your boyfriend on the billboard. Did he hit you? Is that why you are acting this way?"

Tam sighed moving to sit on the bench facing the billboard. "Phi would rather stab himself in the eye with a rusty dull butterknife then to ever hit me." he told her honestly. "I'm just working something out. That is all."

"Something that you can't share with Phi? Something that is making you push Phi away?" Gege looked at him up and down. "Are you planning on leaving again? Because if you leave it will kill him. He will never recover."
