Y/N's POV

" It's time to wake up, my lady." I heard Sebastian say as he opened the curtains. " Mmm....five more minutes." I said as I rolled over in bed, away from the sunlight. I heard Sebastian sigh as he adjusted the curtains. I then heard his footsteps heading towards me. " My lady, if you don't wake up now I will pull these blankets off of you. It is a chilly morning. You don't want to be cold right?" He asked. " Mmm..." I said as I pulled the blankets closer to me. He sighed again. I then felt him grip the blankets and yank them off of me. " Eek!" I screamed. " Good morning my lady. I'm glad to see that you're awake." He said. " Bastard!" I said as I sat up. His devilish smirk was on his face. " Today we have Earl Grey with honey to help warm you up. For breakfast, we have some fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit and scones. After breakfast, you have a dance lesson with Mrs. Trussell and a piano lesson with Miss Windfield. After your lessons, you will have lunch. For lunch today, I will prepare some filet mignon with a side salad and some pudding as dessert. After lunch you have a meeting with some investors. Then after that you must prepare for the ball at the Huntings' manor this evening." Sebastian said. I choked on the tea a bit. " Is that tonight?" I asked. " Yes. It is the annual New Year's Ball. Today is the last day of the year." He said. " Ugh...do I have to go? You know I hate balls." I said. " Yes I do. Last month I had to pry you off of the pillars and practically drag you to the ball." He said. I looked away out of embarrassment.
" Are you embarrassed my lady?" He asked. " You know I am you demon." I said. He chuckled.
" I may be a demon but it's always amusing to see how you humans react to embarrassment." He said. I growled a bit. Our conversation was cut short when my maid came to dress me for the day. " I will go and prepare breakfast. Come down when you're finished dressing my lady." He said. " Yeah, yeah. Just get out of here." I said. He bowed and left. My maid then put me in my dress for the day. Once I was dressed I asked her to leave. Once she left, I was now alone in the room.

" I hate dresses. What I would give to wear a suit for once." I said to myself as I looked at myself in the mirror. I sighed pulled down my dress a bit. Right below my collar bone was Sebastian's contract symbol. I entered a contract with Sebastian when I was ten years old. He's been my butler for eight years. I never thought that I would ever make a contract with a demon. But when people hired by a mysterious person killed everyone in the manor, including my parents, I had no other choice. I called out of help and he answered. He saved me and became my servant. In exchange for extracting revenge against the people who did this, he would claim my soul as his prize. Even though it's been eight years, I barely scratched the surface on the mystery of who was behind my parents' murder. One day I will extract my revenge, but until I do I will live my life normally. I readjusted my dress and headed downstairs for breakfast. I was greeted by the servants as I made my way downstairs. Once I arrived, I started eating. While I ate, I couldn't stop thinking about the ball. I hate balls. Everyone is always acting fake and trying to impress people. And since I'm of marrying age, I'll have men approach me to dance so they will hopefully have a chance with me. The idea of marriage isn't something I like to think about. Since I'm a noble, I'm expected to marry another noble. But all nobles suck. Except me, I'm amazing. But there is a 90% chance I'd be marrying for connections and not love. Then again, love kind of sucks but I'd rather love that connections. I let out a sigh. " Being a noble is so boring." I said. " If you want I could eat your soul now so that you don't have to keep living this miserable life." Sebastian said as he served me some more food. " Being a noble is terrible, not my life you idiot." I said out of annoyance. He just smirked. The day went on and soon enough it was time for me to attend the ball. I was forced to wear a tight, fluffy dress with some stupid heeled shoes. I was also forced to put my hair up in a fancy style and wear makeup. This wasn't me at all. The only thing preventing me from asking Sebastian to kill me was that the dress was my favorite color. I made my way downstairs with my maid and out to the coach where Sebastian waited. " Let's get this over with." I said as I entered the coach.
