A/N: Blind AU
Y/N's POV
I ran through the temple halls, trying to find the other servants. Like I expected, they were all crowded outside of the doors to Burning Spice's chambers. " Guys! i came as fast as I could." I said. " Y/N." One of them said to me. " So is it true? Are the rumors I heard true?" I asked. " See for yourself." They said as they stepped aside. I looked into Burning Spice's room to confirm the rumors. And what I saw did in fact confirm them. When I looked inside, I saw a doctor tying a blindfold around his eyes. " So it is true. The Great Destroyer is blind." I said. My name is Y/N. I'm a servant to the Great Destroyer Burning Spice Cookie. I was taken by him when he destroyed my village. He made me a servant and I've been here ever since. He is the most ruthless and heartless master anyone has ever served. Like every other servant here, I hate him. A few days ago he went on a hunt with some of his most trusted warriors. However, us servants heard that the opponent got the upper hand and slashed him across the face. The slash hit his eyes and he was blinded. Of course none of us believed that. He was the Great Destroyer after all.
But here we are. The rumors were true. Burning Spice was now blind. " There is a low chance you will get your sight back Great One." The doctor treating him said. " Ha! Like something like this will stop me." He said with confidence. But I wasn't sure he was being truthful. " Hey! What are you all doing out here? Get back to work!" We heard someone say. We turned to see Nutmeg Tiger Cookie. She was very angry. We all ran off and got back to work. " What do you think will happen now?" One of the other servants asked. " What do you mean?" I asked. " Do you think the Great Destroyer will be the same?" They asked. " Of course. He's too stubborn to let blindness affect him." I said. " Maybe...." They said.
Time Skip.....
It's been about six months since Burning Spice was blinded and it hasn't been going well. The first two months were fine. He began getting used to moving around without his sight but his fighting has went downhill. He tried going on a hunt but failed. That made most of his soldiers lose respect for him. Once by one they started leaving. Even Nutmeg Tiger Cookie left. Then the servants started leaving. Since he couldn't see, he wouldn't know who left and who stayed. By the end of the six months, I was the only servant that was left. Heck I was the only cookie that was left in this entire temple. I would attend to anything Burning Spice needed. He wasn't grateful about it either. I wasn't sure why i stayed. I just felt like I had to.
" Okay. Lunch has been prepared. I should go and get the Great One before it gets cold." I said. I left the dining room and headed to the training grounds. As I approached, I heard Burning Spice's groans and yells of frustration. " Um Great One?" I asked as I reached the training grounds. I saw him angrily holding his axe in front of the training dummies. He let out a yell and swung at them but he missed all of them. " Dammit!" He said as he punched the ground. " Great One?" I asked. " What?!" He said as he turned to face me. " I'm over here." I said. He growled and managed to face my direction. " What do you want?" He asked sternly. " Lunch is ready. I prepared it just how you like it." I said. He huffed and walked inside. " I'm thankfully he knows where the doors are at least." I thought to myself.
