Y/N's POV
" Hyaa!" I said as I swung my cursed weapon at Commander Megumi. " Nice. But keep it up. I don't want to see you slacking." He said as he summoned one of his shikigamis. I grit my teeth, knowing I couldn't used my cursed energy at the moment and backed up to assess the situation. The shikigami he summoned were his demon dogs which were his signature summon choice. I observed how the dogs moved and dodged them while I formed my strategy. " The black one is more aggressive so if I can get him aggravated enough, he could go berserk and attack the other one. " I thought to myself. Using y cursed weapon, I knocked the white dog back and got the black one to focus on me. I brought him away from the white dog and using some of the sand in the training yard, I threw it at the dog's face which successfully blinded him.
The dog took a moment to adjust to the blinding but he still couldn't see well. " Over here mutt." I said, trying to entice it. But I moved out of the way and he was now facing the white dog. Because of the blinding, he couldn't see which way he was pointing and went after the white dog. While the dogs were fighting, I went after Commander Megumi since he was distracted and trying to get his shikigamis to focus on me. " Got you now!" I said. I swung my cursed weapon at Commander Megumi and got a direct hit on him. Our rules for sparring is when your opponent lands a single hit on you, your out. So I had just won.
" I admit that you got me. But I would like to see you use your cursed technique next time. I know how good you are with cursed weapons but I need to see you battle with cursed energy. That is an order from your commander. Understand?" He said." Y-Yes commander." I said as I lowered my head. He walked away from me to try and take control of his dogs again. I stepped back and thought about what he said but was knocked out of my thoughts when I saw a cursed spirit near the training yard. I made sure no one was looking before going over to it. We went behind a wall and it handed me a note.
It then disappeared, leaving me alone. I sighed and opened the note. " Y/N. King Sukuna and I grow tired of your slow progress. We wish to extend our reach further until everywhere is under the reign of King Sukuna. You have three more days to finish your mission before we send a cursed spirit your way to do it for you. It would be a shame for there to be an accident resulting in your death. -Lord Kenjaku." The note read. My hands started shaking a bit. " Shit." I said. I started pacing back and forth. " Calm down Y/N. You just have three days to kill King Gojo. It's not like you're going to die if you don't. Oh wait, you are." I said as i started panicking.
Let me start from the beginning. My name is Y/N L/N and I am actually a knight from the Cursed Kingdom and not the Sorcerer Kingdom. There has been a war going on for the last 1000 years between the Cursed Kingdom and the Sorcerer Kingdom. The King of Curses Ryomen Sukuna has been trying to wipe out any sorcerers that oppose his rule with the help of his army and advisor Kenjaku. Sukuna had almost succeeded in uniting the entire land under his rule but a few years ago a young king took the throne of the Sorcerer Kingdom and managed to push him back by reclaiming most of his land. That King was King Satoru Gojo of the Sorcerer Kingdom. He took the throne when he was only seventeen years old and has been doing better than all of his predecessors in pushing King Sukuna back. While both sides have had substantial wins and losses, King Sukuna's side has suffered more.
