Pure Vanilla's POV
I walked down the hallway towards the council room while Y/N followed me. " Are you sure you don't wish to walk starlight?" I asked. They smiled. " I prefer floating. My feet are special and have a weird reaction to solid ground sometimes." They said. I looked at their feet and gazed at the galaxy that surrounded them. I smiled and turned back to face them. " I know that my friends will love you. I can't wait for you to meet them officially." I said. " i already know it will be a shock when we meet. But they are holders of some of the ten pillars. I am looking forward to see their reactions." They said. It has been about a month since everything with YN has happened. Y/N and I got married and they started living with me. Everyday is surprising but incredibly enjoyable.
Everyone in the kingdom was shocked when they first met Y/N, In their typical fashion, they allowed each citizen of the kingdom to ask them three questions. Most of the questions were repetitive but they didn't mind. Y/N did change their rules a bit regarding the three questions. They allows everyone, including myself, to ask her three questions per day. Of course, there are some exceptions. They allows children to ask multiple questions. I assume it's yo fuel their curiosity. Also there are some exceptions to the questions. They allow normal questions to be answered freely. What I mean by normal questions is something like what do you want to do today, do you want to go here, what do you want to eat, etc. Basically questions like that don't count. I believe they decided that so they can hold a conversation with the citizens.
I myself have had a lot of my questions answered. However, I found that when Y/N mentions some names of people they know I can't hear them. They sound like static. Like when I asked them who their master was. When they said her name all I could hear was static. The only word I got was I'm guessing is part of their title: Finality. When I asked them who gave them permission to turn into a cookie, that name was also static. And when I asked what world they were originally from, once again I heard static. I believe Y/N is aware of this. However, they have done nothing to correct this. Perhaps in time I will be able to hear those names but for now, I am unable to comprehend them.
Regardless of that fact, my life with Y/N has been wonderful. They are kind, compassionate, patient, and overall amazing. But they are still mysterious. One time Y/n ended up disappearing for hours and it wasn't until the evening when I saw them again. When i asked where they were, using up my last question of the day, they told me that they went back to their other realm. They said it was their place of solitude and whenever they need a moment alone, they can retreat to it freely. I knew what it was like to need alone time to think and comprehend my thoughts. Whenever I nee some solitude, I would head out to the garden. Speaking of the garden, Y/n's first reaction of it was similar to a child discovering candy for the first time. They said that they hadn't seen plants with green on them in a long time.
I used one of my questions of that day to ask them what they meant. They said that when their master started training them, they would mainly stay in their other realm. The last time they saw their homeworld was when they were four years old. They had come to view their other realm as their home. I understood and told them that there home is wherever they make it to be. they smiled and hugged me, thanking me for accepting their answer. Over my time of asking them questions, I leaned how to get more information. instead of specifying a question, i would ask them to explain themselves or ask them what they meant after they make a statement about something I was unfamiliar with. This allowed me to start piecing together their past. but there were more holes with each answer I received. Y/n is indeed an otherworldly enigma. Maybe I'll never fully comprehend them. but that's ago. As long as I get to spend the rest of my life with them, I am content with not knowing everything.
